Abstract

  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 소포 포탈은 다수의 라커 컴파트먼트를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서, 접근 제어 어레인지먼트는 각 라커 컴파트먼트에 연결된전자적으로 제어가능한 래치 메카니즘과 도어를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  4. 제 1 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 소포 포탈은 다수의 소포 수령 및 분배 베이(bay)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  5. 제 4 항에 있어서, 접근 제어 어레인지먼트는 각 수령 및 분배 베이에 연결된 전자적으로 제어가능한 래치 메카니즘과 도어를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  6. 제 4 항에 있어서, 포탈에 저장되는 소포를 하우징내에 위치한 지정 빈 홀더(bin holder)에 자동적으로 전달하는 컨트롤러에 의해 작동되는 자동 소포 전달 메카니즘을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  7. 제 6 항에 있어서, 자동 소포 전달 메카니즘은 소포를 빈 홀더에서 그로부터 분배를 위한 지정 포탈로 전달하는 컨트롤러에 의해 작동되여지도록 더 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  8. 제 1 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 소포 포탈은 서로 다른 사이즈 치수를 갖는 다수의 포탈을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  9. 제 1 항에 있어서, 컨트롤러는 식별 및 인증 정보를 원격지의 중앙 데이터 수집 시스템으로 전달 및 수신하도록 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  10. 제 1 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 정보 입력 시스템은 신용/직불 카드로부터 정보를 판독하도록 배치된 데이터 판독기 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  11. 제 1 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 정보 입력 시스템은 터치 스크린 디스플레이 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  12. 제 1 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 정보 입력 시스템은 휴대용 무선 데이터 송신기에서 전송된 신호를 수신하기 위한 수신기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  13. 제 1 항에 있어서, 하우징에 존재하는 개인이 다른 지역의 손님과 교신하게 하기 위해 컨트롤러에 연결된 비디오 회의 시스템을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  14. 제 1 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 정보 입력 시스템은 생체 인식 입력 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  15. 제 14 항에 있어서, 생체 인식 입력 장치는 홍체 스캐너를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  16. 제 14 항에 있어서, 생체 인식 입력 장치는 지문 스캐너를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션.
  17. 소포 수령자 정보와 소포 픽업 및 배달 스테이션내의 저장 위치 및 관련 소포를 연관시키는 단계;
    잠재적인 소포 수령자로부터 생체 인식 정보를 수집하는 단계;
    생체 인식 정보와 소포 수령자 정보를 비교하여, 수령자가 소포를 수령하도록 권한이 부여되었는지 결정하는, 단계; 및
    수령자가 소포를 수령하도록 권한이 부여되었음을 생체 인식 정보가 지시하면 저장 위치로의 접근을 자동적으로 허용하는 단계
    를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 소포 픽업 및 배달을 자동화하기 위한 방법.
  18. 제 17 항에 있어서, 생체 인식 정보를 수집하는 단계는 잠재적인 소포 수령자로부터 홍체 패턴 정보를 수집하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  19. 제 17 항에 있어서, 생체 인식 정보를 수집하는 단계는 잠재적인 소포 수령자로부터 지문 정보를 수집하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
