Abstract

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for disinfection of container having self-antimicrobial action, which is used to prevent the implantation of bacteria or the infection in the container. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (i) heating a container such as ceramic, bottle, and plastic to 50 deg.C or more, and (ii) immersing the container in 10-30 ppm of silver solution. Also, the method comprises spraying a silver solution of 50 deg.C or more, on the container such as ceramic, bottle, and plastic. The method can disinfect a container, and prevent the infection of food in the container with bacteria, as well as continuously maintain an antimicrobial action of the container.
