Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing graphene, and more particularly to an apparatus for manufacturing graphene using row heating.
As materials composed of carbon atoms, fullerene, carbon nanotube, graphene, graphite and the like exist. Among them, graphene is a structure in which carbon atoms are composed of one layer on a two-dimensional plane.
In particular, graphene is not only very stable and excellent in electrical, mechanical and chemical properties, but it is also a good conductive material that can move electrons much faster than silicon and can carry much larger currents than copper, It has been proved through experiments that a method of separation has been discovered.
Such graphene can be formed in a large area and has electrical, mechanical and chemical stability as well as excellent conductivity, and thus is attracting attention as a basic material for electronic circuits.
In addition, since graphenes generally have electrical characteristics that vary depending on the crystal orientation of graphene of a given thickness, the user can express the electrical characteristics in the selected direction and thus design the device easily. Therefore, graphene can be effectively used for carbon-based electric or electromagnetic devices.

The present invention has the following effects.
First, since current is applied in contact with both sides of the formation region of the catalyst metal, current can flow uniformly throughout the formation region, and therefore, the temperature of the entire formation region can be uniformly controlled.
When graphene is synthesized in a uniformly controlled temperature region using such a row-column, uniform graphene growth can be achieved continuously.
Therefore, since uniform temperature control can be efficiently performed, high quality graphene can be formed in the entire formation region of the catalyst metal.
After the graphene is formed, the catalyst metal can be transferred to form graphene in a new forming region, so that grafting can be continuously performed on the entire catalytic metal.
On the other hand, by using such an apparatus for producing graphene, it is possible to control a constant temperature irrespective of the width of the catalyst metal, so that large-area graphene can be efficiently formed, and such large- Can be efficiently used for display devices and the like.
In addition, since all of the devices for supplying and storing the catalyst metal and for heating are located in the chamber, the chamber does not need to use expensive materials such as quartz, and can be made of metal, ceramic, or the like.
Therefore, there is no restriction on the size of the chamber, and it is easy to grow graphen having a large area, and the mass productivity can be greatly improved.
