Up to now, wet processes such as plating and anodic oxidation have been carried out in order to realize colors in the appearance and case of most electronic parts.
However, such a wet process has a problem that toxic wastewater is generated due to the use of an acidic solution, thereby causing environmental pollution. Further, there are problems such as difficulty in precise thickness control, difficulty in removal of impurities, and weak abrasion resistance.
A dry thin film coating process such as a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) process is a promising method for solving the problem of the wet plating process.
The dry thin film coating process can be largely divided into PVD method and CVD method. The CVD method has a problem that the process temperature is higher than 1200 ° C., the process control is difficult, and the precursor production is difficult.
On the other hand, the PVD process is an eco-friendly process with no emission of pollutants and has excellent adhesion and abrasion resistance.
On the other hand, colors that are the same as or almost similar to those of pure gold have never been realized in the appearance of electronic parts, cases, and prosthetics.
In order to accomplish the above object, the present invention provides a method of forming a gold coating film using a PVD method, which comprises: preparing a Ti-Zr alloy target in which titanium and zirconium are dissolved in a vacuum to prepare a Ti-Zr alloy target in a weight ratio of Ti: A manufacturing step; A coating step of forming a Ti-Zr-N nitride-based gold coating film on the surface of the substrate by injecting argon and nitrogen gas into the chamber and arc-discharging the Ti-Zr alloy target; And a control unit.

In order to achieve the above object, the dental prosthesis of the present invention is characterized in that its surface is coated with a gold coating film of a Ti-Zr-N nitride based material formed by the above-described method.
As described above, according to the present invention, by forming a coating layer using a Ti-Zr alloy target prepared by vacuum melting titanium and zirconium, the composition ratio of Ti and Zr can be improved compared to the method of simultaneously using Ti and Zr targets It has an advantage that it can be precisely controlled.
The present invention can form a gold coating film having excellent hardness on the surface of dental prosthesis, orthodontic appliance, electronic parts, mobile phone case and the like and having a beautiful appearance.
1 is a schematic view showing an arc ion plating apparatus.
Hereinafter, a method of forming a gold coating film using the PVD method according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention and a dental prosthesis using the same will be described in detail.
A method of forming a gold coating film using PVD according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a target manufacturing step and a coating step.
The present invention uses an alloy (hereinafter referred to as a Ti-Zr alloy) material in which titanium and zirconium are mixed as a metal material for forming a coating film on the surface of a base material. The coating film formed of a Ti-Zr alloy material has excellent hardness.
First, titanium and zirconium are vacuum-melted in a target manufacturing step to prepare a Ti-Zr alloy target in which Ti: Zr is mixed in a ratio of 1: 0.25 to 4. The preparation of such an alloy target has the advantage that the ratio of Ti to Zr can be easily controlled. Therefore, the ratio of Ti to Zr in the coating film formed on the surface of the substrate using the Ti-Zr alloy target is determined by the ratio of Ti and Zr in the Ti-Zr alloy target.
The weight ratio of Ti: Zr in the alloy target is preferably 1: 0.25 to 4. If the ratio of zirconium to titanium is less than 0.25, the color of the coating film is too dark, and if the ratio of zirconium to titanium is more than 4, the color of the coating film becomes too soft and it is difficult to realize pure gold.
In the present invention, the production of an alloy target is made by vacuum melting titanium and zirconium. The vacuum arc melting method can be applied as a vacuum melting method. In the vacuum arc melting method, a metal to be melted is charged into a vacuum melting furnace and an arc is generated in a vacuum or inert gas atmosphere to melt the metal in the vacuum melting furnace. Since the vacuum arc melting method is a well-known technique, a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
The vacuum arc melting method is divided into a consumable electrode method in which the electrode itself of the metal material installed in the vacuum melting furnace is melted and a non-consumable electrode method in which a separate metal material is melted in the vacuum melting furnace.
The present invention applies a first arc dissolution step using a non-consumable electrode method and a second arc dissolution step using a second consumable electrode method for the production of a Ti-Zr alloy target.
A first arc dissolving step of charging a titanium and zirconium metal into a vacuum melting furnace equipped with a non-consumable electrode and generating an arc to dissolve the metal to form a Ti-Zr single beam; b) A step of preparing a plurality of Ti-Zr single beams and then welding them together to produce a rod-like consumable electrode; c) generating an arc after the consumable electrode is installed in a vacuum melting furnace to dissolve the consumable electrode to form a Ti- And d) a processing step of forming the Ti-Zr alloy target by processing the Ti-Zr ingot.
In the first arc melting step, an arc is generated after charging titanium and zirconium metal into a vacuum melting furnace equipped with a non-consumable electrode. The vacuum arc melting apparatus for performing the first arc melting step may be a conventional one. For example, a mold having a hemispherical groove is provided in a vacuum melting furnace, and a rod-shaped non-consumable electrode (tungsten material) is disposed on the upper side of the mold. An arc is generated by the electrode, and the metal material located in the mold is melted by the generated arc. The metals charged into the vacuum furnace are titanium and zirconium metal. Titanium and zirconium are charged into the vacuum furnace in the form of briquette with a purity of 99.9% or more. Titanium and zirconium charged in the vacuum melting furnace are adjusted to a ratio of Ti: Zr of 1: 0.25 to 4. Arc is generated, and the molten titanium and zirconium metal flow into the center of the mold and are mixed to form an alloy.
In the above-described first arc melting step, the molten metal is cooled to produce Ti-Zr single-phase mixed with Ti: Zr at a ratio of 1: 0.25 to 4. The size of the Ti-Zr single beam is approximately 20 mm in diameter and 200 mm in length.
Next, a consumable electrode to be used in the first arc melting step is produced. For this purpose, a plurality of Ti-Zr single beams are prepared and then welded together to produce an elongated bar-shaped consumable electrode. A consumable electrode of 20 mm in diameter and 700 to 800 mm in length is suitable.
Next, a consumable electrode is installed in a vacuum melting furnace, and an arc is generated to dissolve the consumable electrode to perform a second arc melting step of making a Ti-Zr ingot. The second arc melting step is a consumable electrode type vacuum arc melting process. The vacuum arc melting apparatus for performing the second arc melting step may be a conventional one. For example, the vacuum melting furnace has a mold formed with hemispherical grooves in the inside thereof, and a consumable electrode is provided on the upper side of the mold. When an arc is generated, the consumable electrode is melted, and the melted molten metal is transferred to a mold to produce a uniform ingot.
An ingot of an alloy material (hereinafter referred to as a Ti-Zr ingot) mixed with titanium and zirconium is processed into a shape and size suitable for use as a target through a machining step. Processing can be performed using a conventional lathe machine. The processed Ti-Zr alloy target is used as the material of the coating film.
When the Ti-Zr alloy target is used to form a coating film, the composition ratio of Ti and Zr can be precisely controlled. On the other hand, it is possible to deposit the coating film on the surface of the substrate by simultaneously discharging the Ti target and the Zr target by arc discharge without using the Ti-Zr alloy target, but in this case, it is very difficult to precisely control the composition ratio.
When the Ti-Zr alloy target is prepared, the coating step is carried out.
In the coating step, a Ti-Zr alloy target is placed in the chamber, argon and nitrogen gas are injected, and the Ti-Zr alloy target is arc discharged to form a gold coating film of Ti-Zr-N nitride based material on the surface of the substrate.
A substrate to form a coating film is prepared to carry out the coating step. Various dental prosthetic or orthodontic appliances, electronic parts, mobile phone cases and the like can be used as the base material. The material of the base material is not particularly limited.
바람직하게 PVD(Physical Vapor Deposition)법을 적용한다. The present invention applies a dry thin film coating process as a method for forming a gold coating film on the surface of a substrate. Preferably, the PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) method is applied. The PVD method is an eco-friendly process that does not emit pollutant emissions. It is capable of precise process control and has excellent adhesion and abrasion resistance. The arc ion plating (AIP) method, which has excellent adhesion of the coating film in the PVD method, is used. Hereinafter, the coating step using the arc ion plating method will be described as an example.
After the substrate is prepared, the foreign matter on the surface of the substrate is washed. In order to clean the foreign matter, the substrate is put into the washing container, and then a common washing liquid is injected and the impurities attached to the surface of the substrate are cleaned by using a washing machine. In addition, it can be cleaned using ultrasonic waves.
After rinsing, rinsing, drying in a drier to evaporate water, and applying an arc ion plating method to form a gold coating on the surface of the substrate. The arc ion plating apparatus for applying a specific substance to the surface of a substrate using an arc discharge causes an arc discharge between a cathode (target) for arc evaporation and an anode as a chamber during start-up, The evaporated material is deposited on the surface of the substrate as it is ionized by the plasma present between the cathode and the anode.

In order to perform the reaction using the above-mentioned arc ion plating apparatus, the
As an example of the arc discharge condition, an arc power of 20 to 60 A at a chamber pressure of 7 to 20 mTorr, 200 to 400 DEG C, 100 sccm of argon gas and 100 sccm of nitrogen gas under a negative potential bias voltage of 100 to 300 V was injected for 60 minutes Arc discharge can be performed. Titanium and zirconium evaporated from the Ti-Zr alloy target through arc discharge react with nitrogen to form a Ti-Zr-N nitride-based coating film on the surface of the substrate.
Through the above coating step, it is possible to form an attractive gold coating film on the surface of various substrates such as a dental prosthesis, an orthodontic appliance, an electronic part, and a mobile phone case.
