Description
The present invention relates to an adhesive tape having a functional film such as an inorganic sealing film and a transfer method of the functional film.
최근 태양 전지나 플랫 패널 디스플레이 등의 디바이스는 밀봉막 등의 기능막을 포함된 주된 부재를 유기계 재료로 구성하여 플렉시블화, 경량화, 박막화, 대형기판화 등을 도모하고 있다(예를 들면, 특허문헌 1, 2참조).In recent years, devices such as solar cells and flat panel displays have been composed of a main member including a functional film, such as a sealing film, with an organic material to achieve flexibility, light weight, thin film, and large substrate (for example,
However, a sealing film (organic sealing film) made of an organic material has a lower gas barrier property than a sealing film (inorganic sealing film) made of an inorganic material such as glass. Therefore, the device sealed with the organic sealing film has the problem of being easy to deteriorate under the influence of moisture, oxygen, etc. in the outside air, and short lifetime.
On the other hand, when using an inorganic sealing film instead of an organic sealing film, it is necessary to thin the inorganic sealing film for the purpose of weight reduction. By the way, the inorganic sealing film thinned is weak in strength, and is easy to be cracked at the time of conveyance.
However, the transfer sheet described in
An object of the present invention is to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having a functional film that can safely handle the functional film and having excellent recycling property, and a transfer method of the functional film.
The adhesive tape with a functional film of this invention is equipped with a base film, the adhesive layer laminated | stacked on one side of this base film, and the functional film laminated | stacked on the surface of this adhesive layer. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a side chain in the pressure-sensitive adhesive and the polymer chain and contains a polymer having crystallinity, and the adhesive force decreases at a temperature above the melting point of the polymer having the side chain in the polymer chain and crystalline.
The transfer method of the functional film of this invention is a method of transferring the functional film in the adhesive tape which has the said functional film to a transfer member, Comprising: The process of following (i) and (ii).
(i) 상기 기능막의 표면에 접착층을 개재해서 전사 부재를 접착하는 공정.(i) A step of adhering the transfer member to the surface of the functional film via an adhesive layer.
(ii) 이어서 상기 점착제층의 온도를 상기 고분자 사슬에 측쇄를 가지고 결정성을 지닌 폴리머의 융점 이상의 온도로 해서 점착력을 저하시키고, 상기 점착제층으로부터 기능막을 분리하여 기능막을 점착제층으로부터 전사 부재에 전사하는 공정.(ii) Subsequently, the pressure of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is lowered to a temperature higher than the melting point of the polymer having side chains in the polymer chain and having crystallinity, and the functional film is separated from the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to transfer the functional film from the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to the transfer member. Process.
In addition, the said "functional film" in this invention means the film | membrane which has a predetermined | prescribed function, and whose strength is insufficient alone and is difficult to handle. As the above functions, in addition to the sealing function, for example, electrical and electronic functions (conductivity, insulation, piezoelectricity, dielectric property, etc.), optical functions (reflective property, light shielding property, polarization property, refractive index control function, etc.), magnetic functions (light magnetism, softening) Magnetic, non-magnetic, permeability, etc.), chemical functions (water repellency, adsorption, catalytic, absorbency, ion conductivity, redox, etc.), thermal functions (heat transfer, heat insulation, thermal expansion control, etc.), and the like. Other functions may be used.
(Effects of the Invention)
According to the present invention, since the functional film is held by the base film and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on one side of the base film, rigidity can be imparted to the functional film by the base film, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer functions as a cushioning material. The external force exerted by the functional film on the back can be absorbed. In addition, since the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a side chain in the pressure-sensitive adhesive and the polymer chain and contains a polymer having crystallinity, when the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is heated to a temperature above the melting point of the polymer having the side chain in the polymer chain and the crystalline polymer, And the crystalline polymer exhibits fluidity, thereby inhibiting the adhesiveness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive, thereby lowering the adhesive force. Therefore, when the functional film is separated, the adhesive force can be sufficiently lowered by heating the temperature of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to a temperature above the melting point of the polymer having side chains in the polymer chain and having crystalline properties, and thus the functional film can be handled safely.
In addition, since the polymer chain has a side chain in the polymer chain and uses a phase change of the crystalline polymer, it can be used repeatedly and exhibit excellent recycling properties. Moreover, since an adhesive layer functions as a cushioning material, it can also be wound up in roll shape depending on the structure of a functional film, and can respond also to continuous production by what is called a roll to roll method.

Taking the acrylic adhesive as an example, the monomer constituting the acrylic adhesive includes, for example, (meth) acrylate having an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and as the (meth) acrylate, for example, ethyl Hexyl (meth) acrylate, methyl (meth) acrylate, ethyl (meth) acrylate, butyl (meth) acrylate, etc. are mentioned. Moreover, you may use (meth) acrylate etc. which have a hydroxyalkyl group, As this (meth) acrylate, hydroxyethyl (meth) acrylate, hydroxypropyl (meth) acrylate, hydroxyhexyl ( Meth) acrylate, etc. are mentioned. It is preferable that the weight average molecular weights of the polymer obtained by superposing | polymerizing the said monomer are 250,000-1 million. When the said weight average molecular weight is too small, there exists a possibility that what is called paste residue which the
On the other hand, polymers having side chains in the polymer chain and having crystallinity are polymers that crystallize at temperatures below the melting point and also exhibit fluidity at temperatures above the melting point. That is, the polymer having side chains in the polymer chain and having crystallinity reversibly generates a crystalline state and a flow state in response to a temperature change. The pressure-sensitive
The melting point means a temperature at which a specific portion of the polymer, which was initially matched in an orderly arrangement by a predetermined equilibrium process, becomes disordered, and is measured under a measurement condition of 10 ° C / min by a differential thermal scanning calorimeter (DSC). The value obtained. As said melting point, it is 30 degreeC or more, Preferably it is 30-70 degreeC. In order to make the said melting point into a predetermined value, it can carry out arbitrarily by changing the composition etc. of the polymer which has a side chain in a polymer chain, and has crystallinity.

The (meth) acrylate which has a C16-C22 linear alkyl group, such as these, is mentioned, As (meth) acrylate which has the said C1-C6 alkyl group, For example, methyl (meth) acrylate and ethyl (meth) ) Acrylate, butyl (meth) acrylate, hexyl (meth) acrylate, and the like. Examples of the polar monomers include carboxyl groups such as acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, crotonic acid, itaconic acid, maleic acid and fumaric acid. Containing ethylenically unsaturated monomers; And ethylenically unsaturated monomers having hydroxyl groups such as 2-hydroxyethyl (meth) acrylate, 2-hydroxypropyl (meth) acrylate, and 2-hydroxyhexyl (meth) acrylate, and the like. You may use 1 type or in mixture of 2 or more types.
It does not specifically limit as polymerization method, For example, solution polymerization method, block polymerization method, suspension polymerization method, emulsion polymerization method, etc. are employable. For example, when employ | adopting the solution polymerization method, the monomer illustrated above can be mixed with a solvent, and the said monomer can be polymerized by stirring at about 40-90 degreeC for about 2 to 10 hours.
The weight average molecular weight of the polymer having side chains and crystallinity in the polymer chain is 2,000 or more, preferably 2,000 to 20,000. If the said weight average molecular weight is too small, there exists a possibility that paste residue may increase when the
The polymer having a side chain in the polymer chain and having crystallinity may be contained in a ratio of 1 to 20 parts by weight, preferably 1 to 10 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the pressure-sensitive adhesive in terms of solid content. This ensures sufficient adhesion at temperatures below the melting point of the polymers having side chains and crystallinity in the polymer chains, and polymers having side chains and crystallinity in the polymer chains exhibit fluidity at temperatures above the melting point. When it cut out, adhesive force falls. On the other hand, if the content of the polymer having side chains and crystallinity in the polymer chain is too small, even if the pressure-
As thickness of the
In order to provide the pressure-
As thickness of the

Next, the transfer method of the
As shown to Fig.2 (a), (b), first, the
On the other hand, the
The
After the
Then, the temperature of the atmosphere is heated to a temperature above the melting point of the crystalline polymer having side chains in the polymer chain by using heating means such as gas to lower the adhesive force of the pressure-
Thereafter, as illustrated in FIG. 2E, the pressure-
As mentioned above, although some embodiment by this invention was shown, this invention is not limited to the above embodiment, A various improvement and a change are possible in the range as described in a claim. For example, although the embodiment regarding the adhesive tape which has a functional film mentioned above mentioned the inorganic sealing film as a functional film, it demonstrated, but the functional film by this invention is not limited to this, Functional films other than an inorganic sealing film, ie, sealing It can use suitably for the film | membrane which has a function other than a function, and is independent of strength and is difficult to handle.
Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the case where the inorganic sealing film was laminated | stacked directly on the adhesive layer was demonstrated, you may interpose a non-adhesive layer, for example between an adhesive layer and an inorganic sealing film. As a result, the inorganic sealing film can be more easily separated.
The non-adhesive layer means a layer having substantially no adhesive force. The non-adhesive layer is not a uniform layer covering the entire surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, but a non-uniform layer that partially exposes the surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. That is, the said non-adhesive layer is a non-adhesive layer which formed the shape of a dot form, a speckle, etc., for example.
If the surface area of the adhesive layer exposed from the said non adhesion layer is adjusted, the contact area of an adhesive layer and a functional film can be adjusted. When the contact area is enlarged, the adhesive force becomes strong. On the contrary, when the contact area is made small, the adhesive strength is weakened. Therefore, when the non-adhesive layer is interposed between the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the functional film, the adhesive force of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer can be easily controlled, so that the functional film can be more easily separated. In addition, the ratio of the surface area of the adhesive layer exposed from a non-adhesive layer can be arbitrarily set according to the adhesive force and a functional film of an adhesive layer, and is not specifically limited.
The non-adhesive layer may be formed by, for example, deposition, spray drying, sputtering, or the like. In particular, vapor deposition is preferred in that the non-adhesive layer is efficiently formed. In the case where the non-adhesive layer is formed by vapor deposition, the vapor deposition may be stopped before the entire surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is covered with the non-adhesive layer. The same applies to the case of employing the above-mentioned spray drying and sputtering.
As a composition of the said non-adhesive layer, what is necessary is just to have substantially no adhesive force. Specific example, there may be mentioned silicone, fluororesin, silicon dioxide (SiO 2), such as, in particular, the fluoropolymer is suitable. Examples of the fluororesin include tetrafluoroethylene hexafluoropropylene copolymer (FEP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), tetrafluoroethylene perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymer (PFA), and the like. Can be.
As thickness of the said non adhesion layer, it is preferable that it is 1 micrometer or less, and it is more preferable that it is 600 nm or less. If the thickness of the non-adhesive layer is too large, it is difficult to uniformly contact the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the functional film, which is not preferable. In addition, peeling at the time of interposing a non-adhesive layer normally arises between a non-adhesive layer and a functional film.

Evaluation>
The separability of the inorganic sealing film was evaluated about each adhesive tape obtained above. While the evaluation method is shown below, the result is shown in Table 2.
(Separability of inorganic sealing film)
As the inorganic sealing film, an aluminum film and a quartz glass film each having a thickness of 50 µm were used. Each of these inorganic sealing films was laminated | stacked on the surface of the said adhesive layer in the atmospheric temperature of 23 degreeC. Next, the acrylic adhesive tape ("No-535A" of NITTO DENKO CORPORATION) was stuck to the surface of each inorganic sealing film. Subsequently, after raising the atmospheric temperature to 23 ° C. to 60 ° C., the separability of the inorganic sealing film was evaluated by gently lifting the acrylic adhesive tape with a finger. The evaluation criteria were set as follows.
(Circle): It was easy to separate from an adhesive layer, without damaging an inorganic sealing film.
(Triangle | delta): Although some load is applied, it is a range without problem in actual use, and was able to isolate | separate from an adhesive layer without damaging an inorganic sealing film.
X: A large load was applied and the inorganic sealing film was deformed or damaged.
As is clear from Table 2, it can be seen that Examples 1 to 3 are superior to the separation property of the inorganic sealing film than Comparative Example 1. In particular, Example 3 with a non-adhesive layer exhibited better separation than Example 1. In Example 3, peeling occurred between the non-adhesive layer and the inorganic sealing film.
