Claims (5)
- 제1 절연 기판,상기 제1 절연 기판 위에 형성되어 있는 게이트선,상기 게이트선과 절연되어 교차하고 있는 데이터선,상기 게이트선과 상기 데이터선에 의하여 정의되는 화소 영역마다 형성되어 있는 화소 전극,상기 게이트선, 상기 데이터선 및 상기 화소 전극에 각각 게이트 전극, 소스 전극 및 드레인 전극이 연결되어 있는 박막 트랜지스터,상기 제1 절연 기판과 대향하고 있는 제2 절연 기판,상기 제2 절연 기판 위에 형성되어 있는 기준 전극,상기 제1 절연 기판에 형성되어 있으며 상기 게이트선에 대하여 경사진 제1 사선부를 포함하는 제1 절개부,상기 제2 절연 기판에 상기 제1 사선부와 교대로 배치되는 제2 사선부, 상기 데이터선을 따라 뻗어 있으며 상기 데이터선 폭 및 이웃하는 화소전극의 두 세로 경계선 사이의 간격보다 넓은 폭의 연결부를 가지는 제2 절개부를 포함하고,상기 데이터선을 중심으로 하여 양쪽에 위치하는 두 개의 화소 영역에서 상기 제1 절개부와 상기 제2 절개부는 각각 상기 데이터선에 대하여 거울상 대칭을 이루며,상기 제1 및 제2 절개부는 상기 데이터선 이외의 상기 데이터선과 평행한 어느 선에 대해서도 자체 대칭구조를 가지지 않는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 제1 사선부와 연결되며 상기 화소 전극을 상하로 반분하는 위치에 가로 방향으로 형성되어 있는 가로 절개부를 더 포함하고,상기 가로 절개부를 중심으로 상하의 사선 절개부는 서로 수직을 이루고 있는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 가로 절개부는 상기 화소 전극의 중앙을 가로지르는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,이웃하는 두 화소의 상기 제2 사선부는 상기 연결부로 연결되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
