Abstract
The present invention is to solve the shortcomings of the conventional microwave sintering furnace, such as runaway (flame reaction) phenomenon caused by environmental factors in the sintering furnace, and cracks or tilting of the product to be sintered during heating Not only does the thermocouple not break, but also the temperature variation that occurred during conventional sintering can be significantly reduced by using a microwave heat source in one direction, and the conventional sintering furnace can tilt and crack the product due to sudden temperature rise within a short time due to the flame reaction. Although this occurs, the present invention relates to a cheap and stable high-quality microwave sintering furnace that can reduce the sintering time to 1500 ℃ within 2 hours.

Description
The present invention relates to a microwave sintering furnace for sintering ceramic materials and the like, in particular, there is no spark reaction, minimize the temperature deviation and significantly reduce the sintering time of the product to be sintered, low power consumption that can be used in dentistry, etc. Of a cheap and stable microwave sintering furnace.
In general, microwave heating is sintered using a large output obtained by a vibration circuit when particles of a material are vibrated by microwaves having a high wavelength by microwaves oscillating in a vacuum tube called magnetron. However, in order to solidify the product during sintering, a flame reaction occurs due to a sudden temperature rise and the temperature deviation is severe, and due to the problems caused by the temperature deviation, the sintering time usually takes more than 8 hours. Therefore, efforts have been made to reduce such temperature deviation and sintering time in the microwave sintering furnace.
In general, microwave sintering is a heat treatment method in which a particle is matched to form a solid structure through material movement occurring in atomic units. When heat treatment is performed at a temperature below the melting point, a bond is formed between material particles and becomes a solid. The heat treatment causes material movement in the direction of decreasing the surface energy, that is, in the direction of decreasing the surface area, and is bonded to each other. Therefore, as the industry using the development of the importance is significantly recognized, its use is also diversified in many fields.
However, the conventional microwave sintering furnace often causes a runaway (flame reaction) phenomenon during sintering due to the internal environment of the sintering furnace, which causes cracks and tilting of the product, which not only destroys the thermocouple, but also causes the temperature rise and fall by the magnetron to be very high. Not only did it not maximize the value of the product during its use, but it also caused uneven temperature variations due to the concentration of microwaves in one place, and it also took a considerable amount of time to perform sintering while reducing these temperature variations. In general, more than 8 hours are known to sinter while reducing the temperature variation. Therefore, in order to reduce the temperature variation and the sintering time, the microwave heat source is used in the 4 to 8 directions in the conventional method, but the microwave heat source in these various directions has become a problem that the value of the sintering furnace itself is high when the sintering furnace is manufactured.
Conventionally, microwave sintering furnace has considerably shorter sintering time and less power consumption than electric furnace or gas furnace, which is advantageous in terms of cost and time, and despite the sintering compactly during sintering, it has not solved the above problems. It has not been widely universalized in many fields. In other words, due to the problems of congestion (flame reaction) phenomenon, temperature deviation, heating time, etc., the mechanical and electrical properties are deteriorated, so that the reliability of the sintering furnace is lowered. There was a need to develop a contacting and heating vessel for a microwave sintering furnace to provide a cheap and stable, and efforts have been made to develop a suitable sintering furnace.
However, despite these efforts, the above-mentioned shortcomings were not completely solved, and they did not satisfy the needs of consumers.
That is, the conventional sintering furnace does not raise the temperature slowly to 1500 ℃, which is the temperature for solidifying the product, but suddenly raises the overall uneven heat, spark reaction occurs and cracks or tilting causes the finished product is uneven or Incomplete sintering could occur. In order to remove such flame reactions, cracks and tilting, sintering without flame reactions, cracks and tilting was possible only by slowly raising the temperature up to 1500 ° C. with a time of about 8 hours, but the microwave sintering furnace of the present invention It is primarily heated by the heating body made by adding mullite, alumina, and zirconia as the main component to a porosity of 27% or less, and as shown in the drawing, it forms a recess in the heating body to widen the heating cross-sectional area and dissipate a lot of heat. In addition, since the microwave passes directly through the recess of the heating element and directly touches the other surface, even if the temperature is suddenly increased, that is, the temperature is suddenly raised to 1500 ° C within 2 hours, no spark reaction, crack or tilting phenomenon occurs. In other words, in the prior art, the microwave is concentrated on only one part to sinter the product, and it takes more than 8 hours to heat up to the sintering temperature as a whole. However, the microwave sintering furnace of the present application has a surface of a heating element (a kind of heater for heating the heat) that the microwave directly touches. And it is possible to dissipate the maximum heat through the plurality of grooves and the microwaves passing through the grooves are evenly directly heated to the heating surface, so that the overall temperature rise can be quickly sintered product. In addition, except that the inside of the microwave sintering furnace is filled with refractory material made of alumina, silicon dioxide, and zirconia, which has low thermal conductivity, the space to place the heating element in the center of the sintering furnace has a maximum width of 10 cm, a height of 10 cm, and a height of 6 cm or less. Applicants have found through dozens of experiments that the temperature rise to the shortest time to 1500 ℃.
In addition, the refractory material filled in the sintering furnace is stacked in the form of blocks to not only act to bend the radiant heat during sintering, but also to reduce the leakage of heat to the outside and reduce the sintering furnace manufacturing cost as shown in the figure as shown in the figure The above-mentioned heating body space part is placed in the center of the sintering furnace, and the heat is dispersed and solidified by inserting the crucible into the heating body or by rotating the product into the crucible by a rotation driving device operating as a motor in this part. Here, the case of heating the product in the crucible has been described, but it goes without saying that the same effect can be obtained by directly heating the product in the heating body without the crucible.
The sintering furnace of the present invention is an inlet / outlet cooling fan operated by an external power source, a controller for controlling an electric device, a thermocouple for measuring the temperature of the sintering furnace, a magnetron for generating microwaves, and a high voltage at the magnetron. Microwave shock absorbing plate for mitigating the impact of the transformer and microwave for supplying the light, SSR (non-contact relay) internally molded resin, and a rotary drive device for rotating the heating element or crucible do.
In addition, the inside of the microwave sintering furnace is mullite mainly made of refractory stacked in the form of blocks to reduce the amount of heat leaking to the outside by bending the radiant heat, and silicon carbide resistant to thermal shock, strong oxidation, and does not react with the crucible , Characterized in that it comprises a crucible together with a heating body made of alumina, zirconia or the heating body.
The sintering time of the microwave sintering furnace is characterized in that less than 2 hours.
The heating body is characterized in that it is made of porous to facilitate processing for microwave transmission and shock mitigation.
The heating element is characterized by comprising a plurality of grooves to widen the cross-sectional area to disperse the microwave concentration to dissipate the heat as much as possible.
The center of the sintering furnace is a container (heater) for the primary heating from the outside to the inside, a buried material for the primary heating and shock mitigation, a container (crucible) for the secondary heating, and the secondary heating and It is characterized by consisting of a buried material for shock mitigation.
Here, the investment material is made of alumina, etc., and is placed in the middle of the heating body and the crucible to absorb the reaction by oxidation and the thermal shock due to the high temperature, and serves as an excuse to alleviate the impact of the crucible, heating body, and refractory material. The role of suppressing the reaction by heating the oxidation and at the same time suppressing the reaction with the refractory is also provided.
In the present invention, there is no congestion phenomenon using a heating body made of the above materials, there is no crack or tilting phenomenon during heating, and the thermocouple is not damaged, and the conventional sintering furnace uses a microwave heat source in 4 to 8 directions. On the contrary, it uses the microwave heat source in one direction, which not only reduces the temperature deviation considerably but also reduces the sintering time of the product within 2 hours because there is no such temperature deviation, which can provide a cheap and stable microwave sintering furnace. It can be effective.
Next, the microwave sintering furnace of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

As shown in the

First, when microwaves (indicated by arrows) are generated by the magnetron as shown in the figure, the
Here, the investment material between the
Next, the shape of the
As described above, the heating body should be made of porous material for microwave transmission and shock mitigation. In the case of using the
In addition, the crucible is put into the heating body and the product to be sintered into the crucible is subjected to microwave heating while being rotated by a rotary driving device to rapidly heat the secondary heat, and thus, it is more stable and solidifies more quickly.
5 is a diagram illustrating a cross-sectional view of a microwave sintering furnace on the assumption that the product is sintered in the sintering furnace.
As shown, the sintering furnace surrounds the outer case and has an outer space in the case so as to force forced air cooling by the input /
On the other hand, the refractory 17 in the sintering furnace is stacked in the form of blocks to bend the radiant heat while reducing the amount of heat radiated to the outside while using a suitable material, such as alumina, silicon dioxide, zirconia, and the heating body is heat shock Not only must it be resistant to the refractory, the crucible and the heating due to the reaction, it is also resistant to oxidation and at the same time is a material that is sufficiently resistant to sintering as a heat source of 1500 ℃ mainly composed of mullite, alumina, zirconia It is made of material.
Next, a structure in which the crucible is put into the heating body described above with reference to FIG. 6 will be described in detail.
As shown, the
