Claims (20)
- 트위스트되지 않은(twist-free) 탄소섬유로부터 시작하여 하기의 단계들인:·레조르시놀-포름알데히드 수지와 고무 라텍스의 용액을 포함하는 함침조내에 상기 섬유를 침지시키는 단계;·상기 함침된 섬유를 건조시키는 단계;·상기 건조된 섬유를 트위스트시키는 단계를 포함하며,고무계 제품으로 혼입될 멀티필라멘트(multifilament) 탄소섬유를 모재(母材)로 하는 길이방향 강화성분(longitudinal reinforcing element)의 제조 방법으로서,함침 단계동안, 각 섬유가 함침이 일어나는 표면적이 증대되도록 구성 필라멘트(constituent filament)를 전개(spreading)시킴에 의해서 상기 탄소섬유를 오프닝(opening)시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 섬유는 밖으로 벌림(splaying)에 의해 오프닝되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,섬유의 경로에 수직으로 배치된 1 이상의 바아의 주변부의 주위로 상기 섬유를 통과시킴으로써 밖으로 벌리는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,얀(yarn)은 진동원에 섬유를 노출시킴으로써 오프닝되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,레조르시놀-포름알데히드-라텍스 용액에서, 레조르시놀-포름알데히드 수지의 분율은 건조 중량으로 2~30%이고, 라텍스의 분율은 70~98%를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,레조르시놀-포름알데히드-라텍스 용액에서, 레조르시놀-포름알데히드 수지의 분율은 건조 중량으로 5~10%인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 섬유의 강성(stiffness)에 적합하도록, 레조르시놀-포름알데히드-라텍스 용액에 건조 중량으로 10% 이하의 카본블랙을 첨가하며, 레조르시놀-포름알데히드 수지 분율과 라텍스의 분율은 동일한 비율로 남아있는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,건조 중량으로 1~4%의 카본블랙을 레조르시놀-포름알데히드-라텍스 용액에 첨가하고, 레조르시놀-포름알데히드 수지 분율과 라텍스 분율은 동일한 비율로 남아있는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 사용된 라텍스는 비닐피리딘/스티렌-부타디엔(VP/SBR), 스티렌-부타디엔(SBR), 천연고무(NR)의 라텍스, 카르복실화 및 수소화 아크릴로니트릴-부타디엔(X-HNBR), 수소화 아크릴로니트릴(HNBR), 아크릴로니트릴(NBR), 클로로설폰화 폴리에틸렌(CSM), 및 에틸렌-프로필렌-디엔 단량체(EPDM)로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 1 이상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,함침 단계 이후 건조 단계 이전에 코팅을 규격화(sizing)하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 규격화는 다이(die)를 통해 섬유를 통과시킴으로써 수득되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 규격화는 함침된 섬유를 패딩(padding)함으로써 수득되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,건조 단계 이후에, 섬유로 함침된 레조르시놀-포름알데히드 수지/라텍스 용액의 분획물을 경화시키기위해서 섬유를 가열하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,건조 단계 이후에, 수개의 섬유들을 조합한 후 케이블화(cabling)에 의해 트위스트되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 케이블화/트위스트화는 장력하에 실시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 15 항에 있어서,트위스트화/케이블화 중에 가해지는 장력은 섬유 파열시 부하량의 5% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,용매 매질내 접착제의 용액내에 케이블화 또는 트위스트된 섬유를 함침시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 용매 매질내 접착제의 용액은 할로겐화 중합체를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 14항, 제17 항 및 제 18 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법에 의해 수득될 수 있는 탄소 섬유.
- 제 19 항의 탄소섬유를 혼입시킨 타이어.
