Claims (20)
- 도핑된 산화세륨, 세륨/지르코늄 혼합 산화물, 티탄산 칼슘, 티탄산 스트론튬, 티탄산 바륨, 주석산 바륨, 지르콘산 바륨, 산화마그네슘, 산화란탄, 산화프라세오디뮴, 산화사마륨, 산화네오디뮴, 산화이트륨, 구리산 바륨 이트륨, 티탄산 납, 티탄산 주석, 티탄산 비스무트, 코발트산 란탄, 망간산 란탄, 구리산 바륨 및 이의 혼합물을 포함하는 그룹으로부터 선택된 지지체 물질상에, 알칼리 토금속인 마그네슘, 칼슘, 스트론튬 및 바륨, 및 알칼리 금속인 칼륨 및 세슘의 산화물, 탄산염 또는 수산화물의 입자 형태로 질소 산화물에 대한 저장 성분을 하나 이상 포함하고, 질소 산화물 저장 성분 입자의 평균 직경이 1.5㎛ 미만인 질소 산화물 저장 물질.
- 제1항에 있어서, 저장 물질의 총중량을 기준으로 하여, 규소, 스칸듐, 이트륨, 희토류 금속 및 이의 혼합물을 포함하는 그룹으로부터의 원소들 중의 하나 이상의 산화물 0.5 내지 20중량%를 공침, 공동-열 가수분해, 함침 또는 침전법으로 도핑시킨 도핑된 산화세륨이 지지체 물질로서 사용되는 질소 산화물 저장 물질.
- 제1항에 있어서, 혼합 산화물의 총중량을 기준으로 하여, 산화지르코늄 함량이 1 내지 25중량%인 세륨/지르코늄 혼합 산화물이 지지체 물질로서 사용되는 질소 산화물 저장 물질.
- 제1항에 있어서, 세륨/지르코늄 혼합 산화물이, 저장 물질의 총중량을 기준으로 하여, 규소, 스칸듐, 이트륨, 희토류 금속 및 이의 혼합물을 포함하는 그룹으로부터의 원소들 중의 하나 이상의 산화물 0.5 내지 20중량%로 공침, 공동-열 가수분해, 함침 또는 침전법에 의해 도핑된 질소 산화물 저장 물질.
- 제1항에 있어서, 저장 물질의 총 중량을 기준으로 하여, 저장 성분 10 내지 45중량%를 함유하는 질소 산화물 저장 물질.
- 제1항에 있어서, 지지체 물질의 비표면적이 10m2/g 이상인 질소 산화물 저장 물질.
- 저장 성분의 수용성 전구체 화합물로 지지체 물질을 함침시키고, 건조시킨 다음, 저장 성분의 입자 크기가 1.5㎛ 미만으로 유지되도록 하소 온도 및 하소 기간을 선택하여 하소시킴으로써, 저장 성분을 지지체 물질상에 부착시킴을 포함하는, 제1항 내지 제6항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 질소 산화물 저장 물질의 제조방법.
- 침전제를 사용하여 수성 분산액중에 존재하는 지지체 물질상에 저장 성분을 침전시키고, 건조시킨 다음, 저장 성분의 입자 크기가 1.5㎛ 미만으로 유지되도록 하소 온도 및 하소 기간을 선택하여 하소시킴으로써 저장 성분을 제조함을 포함하는, 제1항 내지 제6항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 질소 산화물 저장 물질의 제조방법.
- 지지체 물질과 저장 성분의 전구체 화합물의 수용액으로부터 공침시키고, 건조시킨 다음, 저장 성분의 입자 크기가 1.5㎛ 미만으로 유지되도록 하소 온도 및 하소 기간을 선택하여 하소시킴으로써 저장 물질을 제조함을 포함하는, 제1항 내지 제6항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 질소 산화물 저장 물질의 제조방법.
- 세라믹 또는 금속으로 제조된 불활성 벌집형 구조물의 유동 채널의 벽 표면상에 피복물의 형태로 제1항 내지 제6항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 질소 산화물 저장 물질을 함유하는 질소 산화물 저장물.
- 제10항에 있어서, 피복물이 산화알루미늄 또는 안정화된 산화알루미늄상의 저장 성분을 추가로 함유하는 질소 산화물 저장물.
- 배기 가스중에 함유된 질소 산화물이 희박 배기 가스 상태하에 질소 산화물 저장 물질에 의해 저장되고 풍부 배기 가스 상태하에 다시 방출되는 희박(lean) 작동으로부터 풍부(rich) 작동으로의 주기적 교번식으로 희박 작동 내연 기관으로부터의 배기 가스를 처리하는 방법으로서, 질소 산화물 저장물로서 제10항 또는 제11항에 따르는 질소 산화물 저장물이 사용됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 하나 이상의 질소 산화물 저장 물질, 및 불활성 지지체 구조물상의 피복물의 형태로 백금 그룹 금속인 백금, 팔라듐, 로듐 및 이리듐을 하나 이상 함유하는 질소 산화물 저장 촉매.
- 제13항에 있어서, 산화알루미늄 또는 안정화된 산화알루미늄, 및 하나 이상의 산화세륨계 산소 저장 물질을 함유하는 질소 산화물 저장 촉매.
- 제14항에 있어서, 백금 그룹 금속이 산화알루미늄 또는 안정화된 산화알루미늄상에 부착되어 있는 질소 산화물 저장 촉매.
- 제15항에 있어서, 질소 산화물 저장 성분이 산화알루미늄 또는 안정화된 산화알루미늄 및 산소 저장 물질상에 부착되어 있는 질소 산화물 저장 촉매.
- 질소 산화물이 희박 작동 상태하에 질소 산화물 저장 물질에 의해 저장되고 풍부 배기 가스 상태하에 방출되고, 배기 가스중에 함유된 환원성 성분에 의해 촉매 활성 성분상에서 주로 질소로 환원되는 희박 작동 방식으로부터 풍부 작동 방식으로의 주기적 교번식으로 희박 작동 내연기관의 배기 가스로부터 질소 산화물을 제거하는 방법으로서, 제13항에 따르는 질소 산화물 저장 촉매를 사용함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
