Claims (18)
- 복수의 행방향 전극선,이들 행방향 전극선과 매트릭스 형태로 제공된 복수의 열방향 전극선,각 행방향 전극선과 열방향 전극선과의 교차부 부근에 형성되고 전기광학소자를 갖는 화소,각 화소에 제공되고 제1 단자가 상기 열방향 전극선과 접속되고 제2 단자가 상기 전기광학소자와 접속되고 ON/OFF 제어용의 제어단자가 상기 행방향 전극선과 접속되며 상기 제어단자에 입력되는 전위에 의해 ON 동작으로 되는 ON 전위가 상기 행방향 전극선에 공급되는 신호전위보다 높게 되어 있는 제1 스위칭소자, 및각 화소에 제공되고 제1 단자가 상기 행방향 전극선과 접속되고 제2 단자가 상기 전기광학소자와 접속되고 ON/OFF 제어용의 제어단자가 상기 열방향 전극선과 접속되며 상기 제어단자에 입력되는 전위에 의해 ON 동작으로 되는 ON 전위가 상기 열방향 전극선에 공급되는 신호전위보다 높게 되어 있는 제2 스위칭소자를 구비하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브매트릭스 표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 스위칭소자의 제어단자는, 그 제1 스위칭소자가 제공되어 있는 화소 또는 그 화소에 인접한 화소의 행방향 전극선과 접속되고, 제2 스위칭소자의 제어단자는, 그 제2 스위칭소자가 제공되어 있는 화소 또는 그 화소에 인접한 화소의 열방향 전극선과 접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브매트릭스 표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전기광학소자가 액정소자로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브매트릭스 표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전기광학소자가 유기 일렉트로루미네슨스소자로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브매트릭스 표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2 스위칭소자가 다결정실리콘으로 이루어지는 박막트랜지스터인 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브매트릭스 표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2 스위칭소자가 연속성입괴(Continuous Grain) 실리콘으로 이루어지는 박막트랜지스터인 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브매트릭스 표시패널.

- 청구항 1에 기재된 액티브매트릭스 표시패널을 구비하고, 상기 각 열방향 전극선의 일단부에는 제1 소스구동회로가 접속되고 타단부에는 제2 게이트구동회로가 접속되고, 상기 각 행방향 전극선의 일단부에는 제1 게이트구동회로가 접속되고 타단부에는 제2 소스구동회로가 접속되며, 이들 제1 및 제2 소스구동회로, 및 제1 및 제2 게이트구동회로는, 비작동상태에 있어서 출력이 하이 임피던스로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 액티브매트릭스 표시패널이 정방형으로 되어 있고, 제1 소스구동회로와 제2 소스구동회로가 액티브매트릭스 표시패널의 인접한 근처에 제공되고, 또한 제1 및 제2 소스구동회로의 데이터신호선 계통이 데이터신호선에 의해 직접 서로 접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 액티브매트릭스 표시패널이 정방형으로 되어 있고, 제1 게이트구동회로와 제2 게이트구동회로가 액티브매트릭스 표시패널의 인접한 근처에 제공되고, 또한 제1 및 제2 게이트구동회로의 어드레스신호선 계통이 어드레스신호선에 의해 직접 서로 접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 액티브매트릭스 표시패널에 정립화상을 표시시킬 때에는, 제1 소스구동회로 및 게이트구동회로의 쌍을 작동상태로 하고, 또한 제2 소스구동회로 및 게이트구동회로의 쌍을 비작동상태로 하고, 상기 정립화상으로부터 90도 회전시킨 화상을 표시할 때에는, 제1 소스구동회로 및 게이트구동회로의 쌍을 비작동상태로 하고, 또한 제2 소스구동회로 및 게이트구동회로의 쌍을 작동상태로 하는 제어수단을 구비하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제11항에 있어서, 제1 소스구동회로 및 게이트구동회로의 쌍이 작동상태, 또한 제2 소스구동회로 및 게이트구동회로의 쌍이 비작동상태일 때, 행방향 전극선이 게이트버스라인, 또한 열방향 전극선이 소스버스라인으로 되고,제1 소스구동회로 및 게이트구동회로의 쌍이 비작동상태, 또한 제2 소스구동회로 및 게이트구동회로의 쌍이 작동상태일 때, 행방향 전극선이 소스버스라인, 또한 열방향 전극선이 게이트버스라인으로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2 스위칭소자가 연속성입괴 실리콘으로 이루어지는 박막트랜지스터이고, 또한 제1, 제2 소스구동회로 및 제1, 제2 게이트구동회로를 구성하는 트랜지스터가 연속성입괴 실리콘으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
