Description
The present invention relates to a gas boiler, and more particularly, to increase the heat transfer area to significantly increase the heat exchange efficiency, and to compact the size while preventing the temperature in the combustion chamber from being unnecessarily increased. It is about a gas boiler.
Boilers used in homes and public buildings are used for heating or hot water. These boilers are divided into oil boilers and gas boilers according to the type of fuel provided.
When comparing oil and gas boilers having the same capacity, oil boilers are cheaper than gas boilers in terms of purchase price, but gas boilers have less fuel consumption than oil boilers.
However, in the long run, the cost to consumers is almost the same for both oil and gas boilers. Therefore, gas boilers are used when the city gas is supplied, and oil boilers are frequently used in other areas where the city gas is not supplied.
In recent years, the use of gas boilers is gradually increasing due to the increase of the city gas supply area. In the conventional gas boiler, as illustrated in FIG. 2, a gas burner 122 is provided at a lower portion of the combustion chamber cover 110 in which a combustion chamber 110a is formed, and a heat exchanger 124 is provided at an upper portion thereof.
An exhaust gas guide plate 120 is provided on the combustion chamber cover 110. And, one side of the combustion chamber cover 110 is connected to the heating and hot water pipe is provided with a return pipe 112 for returning water, the other side is supplied to the heating and hot water pipe not shown warmed by the heat exchanger 124 A supply pipe 114 is provided.
Thus, when the cold water flows into the combustion chamber cover 110 through the return pipe 112 while the gas burner 122 is operated, the introduced water is heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger 124 to increase its temperature. After that, the supply pipe 114 is supplied to the heating and hot water pipes again.
By the way, in such a conventional gas boiler, since heat exchange is performed only by the heat exchanger itself provided in the combustion chamber, the heat transfer area is limited. Therefore, if the heat transfer area is to be increased, the heat exchanger itself needs to be largely designed, so the gas boiler cannot be compacted.
In addition, the conventional gas boiler absorbs heat only by convection and conduction heat transfer, and since most of the radiant heat transfer is discharged out of the combustion chamber, not only the heat loss is large but also the temperature in the combustion chamber is unnecessarily increased.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a gas boiler which can increase heat transfer area to significantly increase heat exchange efficiency.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a gas boiler which can be made compact in size while preventing the temperature in the combustion chamber from being unnecessarily raised.

The object of the present invention is a gas boiler having a combustion chamber cover having a combustion chamber formed therein and a heat exchanger and a gas burner provided at upper and lower portions of the combustion chamber, respectively, between the gas burner and the heat exchanger in the combustion chamber. The water is circulated therein and is achieved by a gas boiler, characterized in that the tubular inlet tube is provided with heat exchange by the gas burner.
Here, the inlet tube may be wound in a plurality of times in an annular shape along the inner wall surface of the combustion chamber cover, or may be arranged in a zigzag shape.
Some sections of the inlet tube is provided with a return adapter to form a water circulation back to the inlet tube.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
1 is a schematic configuration diagram of a gas boiler according to the present invention. As shown in this figure, the gas boiler according to the present invention has a combustion chamber cover 10 forming an appearance and an exhaust gas guide plate 20 provided on the combustion chamber cover 10.
Combustion chamber cover 10 is typically made of a rectangular box shape. However, it may be cylindrical or any other shape depending on the installation site or the efficiency and capacity of the gas boiler and the design. The combustion chamber 10a is formed in the combustion chamber cover 10.
The exhaust gas guide plate 20 provided at the upper portion of the combustion chamber cover 10 has an exhaust gas discharge hole 20a which is generated by the gas burner 22 to be described later and discharged through the exhaust gas to the outside. The exhaust gas exhaust hole 20a is connected to a communication (not shown), and then exhausts the exhaust gas to the outside.
In the lower part of the combustion chamber 10a, the gas burner 22 which is operated by fuel, such as city gas, and produces a flame is provided. And the heat exchanger 24 is provided in the upper part of the combustion chamber 10a. The heat exchanger 24 performs a secondary heat exchange process of warming cold water with hot water by the gas burner 22 together with an inlet tube 28 to be described later.
One side of the heat exchanger 24 is provided with a supply adapter 14 for supplying the warmed water to the heating and hot water piping (not shown). In addition, a connection pipe 26 is coupled to the heat exchanger 24. One end of the connecting pipe 26 is coupled to the heat exchanger 24, and the other end thereof is disposed inside the combustion chamber cover 10 to communicate with the inlet tube 28.
On the other hand, between the gas burner 22 and the heat exchanger 24 in the combustion chamber 10a, the tubular inlet tube 28 through which water circulates is provided. The inlet tube 28 performs a primary heat exchange process by the gas burner 22.
Inlet tube 28 in this embodiment, as shown, is wound a plurality of times in an annular shape along the inner wall surface of the combustion chamber cover (10). At this time, it is desirable that each side of the wound is not in contact with each other so that its heat transfer area by the exhaust gas of the gas burner 22 is increased to further increase the heat exchange efficiency.
In this embodiment, the inlet tube 28 is wound around the inner wall surface of the combustion chamber cover 10 in a plurality of rings, but may be arranged in a zigzag shape inside the combustion chamber cover 10.
In some sections of the inlet tube 28, a return adapter 12 is provided. The water returned through the return adapter 12 in the combustion chamber 10a is circulated again into the inlet tube 28.
By this configuration, the exhaust gas generated by the gas burner 22 passes through the inlet tube 28 provided in the combustion chamber 10a, and the water recovered from the return adapter 12 is again inlet tube 28. 1) The first heat exchange takes place as the water cycles into).
Due to the inlet tube 28, its heat transfer area is increased, thereby absorbing all of the heat transfer of convection, radiation, and conduction to block heat dissipation out of the combustion chamber 10a. Therefore, the thermal efficiency is increased as compared with the existing gas boiler, and the temperature of the combustion chamber 10a can be suppressed from being unnecessarily increased, and the product can be made compact.
The exhaust gas passing through the inlet tube 28 is directed to the heat exchanger 24 to be subjected to secondary heat exchange. At this time, the water passing through the inlet tube 28 is introduced into the heat exchanger 24 through the connection pipe 26 connected to the heat exchanger 24 to perform a second heat exchange, and then through the supply adapter 14 It is supplied to a predetermined position, for example, heating and hot water pipes, not shown.
The exhaust gas passing through the heat exchanger 24 is discharged to the outside through the exhaust gas discharge hole 20a of the exhaust gas guide plate 20.
As described above, in the present invention, since the inlet tube 28 is provided in the combustion chamber 10a, it is not necessary to form the heat exchanger 24 largely as in the related art, so that the gas boiler can be made compact.
In addition, due to the inlet tube 28 wound in a ring, the heat transfer area is increased, and the heat exchange efficiency can be significantly increased. Therefore, as in the related art, it is possible to prevent the temperature in the combustion chamber 10a from rising unnecessarily to cause heat loss.
As described above, according to the present invention, there is provided a gas boiler which can increase the heat transfer area to significantly increase the heat exchange efficiency.
Further, according to the present invention, there is provided a gas boiler which can compact its size while preventing the temperature in the combustion chamber from being unnecessarily raised.
