Abstract

PURPOSE: Cross member structure for a vehicle frame is provided to secure safety of a passenger on a front seat in a head-on collision through lowering installed location of a cross member than lower end of a dash board. CONSTITUTION: A dash board(20) is arranged to a widthwise direction of a vehicle for separating an engine room from a vehicle indoor. Side members(30) are arranged on both sides of a vehicle toward longitudinal direction. A cross member(10) is arranged to be hung under the side members. Herein, the cross member is arranged to widthwise direction of the vehicle. Both ends of the cross member are bent toward outside for 45 degrees. Therefore, a straight section of the cross member is arranged under a lower end of the dash board. Then, the cross member is bonded to the side members by using the bent portions.
