Claims (4)
- 被処理物を収容して軸回りに回転可能な筒体と、前記被処理物を加熱処理するための加熱手段と、前記被処理物を前記筒体の一端側に設けられた入口から前記筒体内に供給するための供給手段とを備えたロータリーキルンであって、
前記筒体内には、該筒体の内周面から内半径未満の高さで立設され、前記筒体の軸方向に螺旋状に延びるヘリカル部が互いに間隙をあけて複数配置され、
前記複数のヘリカル部同士の間には、前記筒体の内周面から立設された前記被処理物を撹拌するためのフライト板が配置され、
前記ヘリカル部は、前記筒体の正回転によって、被処理物が前記入口側に流動する方向で螺旋状に延びており、
前記螺旋状に延びるヘリカル部と前記筒体の内周面とにより規定される螺旋状の通路は一端から他端まで閉じられることなく連通するように構成されていることを特徴とするロータリーキルン。 - 前記複数のヘリカル部のそれぞれは、前記筒体の内周面を2周から3周する長さで形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のロータリーキルン。
- 前記筒体の入口側にガスを導入するためのガス導入手段をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のロータリーキルン。
- 前記ガスは炭化水素ガスを50%以上含むものであり、前記被処理物は炭化水素ガスを炭素と水素とに分解するための触媒金属粒子を含むものであって、ナノ炭素材料及び水素を生成するために用いられることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のロータリーキルン。
