Abstract
Description
<1>粘着剤層(I)、基材、粘着剤層(II)の層構成をこの順に有する両面粘着テープであって、前記粘着剤層(I)の厚み(X)と前記粘着剤層(II)の厚み(Y)の比(Y/X)が1.00を超えて2.00未満である、両面粘着テープ。
<2>前記粘着剤層(I)及び前記粘着剤層(II)が、アクリル系樹脂(A)を含有する粘着剤組成物からなる、<1>に記載の両面粘着テープ。
<3>前記粘着剤組成物が、さらに架橋剤(B)を含有する、<2>に記載の両面粘着テープ。
<4>前記粘着剤層(I)及び前記粘着剤層(II)の少なくとも一方が、難燃剤(C)を含有する、<1>〜<3>のいずれか1つに記載の両面粘着テープ。
<5>前記難燃剤(C)の全質量の90%以上が、前記粘着剤層(II)に含有される、<4>に記載の両面粘着テープ。
<6>前記難燃剤(C)が、前記粘着剤層(II)のみに含有される、<4>又は<5>に記載の両面粘着テープ。
<7>前記難燃剤(C)が、ハロゲンを含有しない難燃剤である、<4>〜<6>のいずれか1つに記載の両面粘着テープ。
<8>前記基材が、フラットヤーンクロスを含有する基材である、<1>〜<7>のいずれか1つに記載の両面粘着テープ。
<9>航空機部材固定用に用いられる、<1>〜<8>のいずれか1つに記載の両面粘着テープ。
なお、本明細書において、「質量」は「重量」と同義である。
本発明の基材としては、例えば、レーヨン布、綿布、ポリエステル布、レーヨンとポリエステルの混紡糸からなる布、不織布、フラットヤーンクロス、フラットヤーンクロスにプラスチックフィルムがラミネートされた積層フィルム等が挙げられ、これらの中でも長手方向の引張強度が高い点から、フラットヤーンクロスを含有するものが好ましい。
なお、基材の単位面積当たりの重量の下限値は通常10g/m2である。
かかる厚みが薄すぎると両面粘着テープの手切れ性は向上するものの、両面粘着テープ製造時にシワが混入する等の不良が増加する傾向があり、厚すぎると両面粘着テープ製造時の不良は低減するものの、切断により大きな力が必要となり手切れ性が低下する傾向がある。
本発明の両面粘着テープは、基材の両面に粘着剤層を配して構成される。本発明の粘着剤層は、種々の樹脂からなる粘着剤組成物を硬化させることにより得られる層である。
粘着剤組成物は、耐候性、再剥離性、耐熱性に優れ、更に粘着特性を比較的容易に調整しやすい点でアクリル系樹脂(A)を含有することが好ましい。
これら官能基含有モノマー(a2)は、単独で用いてもよいし2種以上を併用してもよい。
なお、アクリル系樹脂(A)を構成するモノマーをホモポリマーとした際のガラス転移温度は、通常、示差走査熱量計(DSC)により測定されるものである。

ベース樹脂がアクリル系樹脂(A)である場合には、ロジン系樹脂、テルペン系樹脂、キシレン系樹脂が好ましく、ベース樹脂がゴム系樹脂の場合には、ロジン系樹脂、テルペン系樹脂、石油系樹脂が好ましい。
本発明において、粘着剤層(I)及び粘着剤層(II)の少なくとも一方に難燃剤(C)を含有することが好ましい。
特には、上記に例示したリン系難燃剤が好ましく、粘着物性の低下が少なく優れた難燃性が得られることから、また加水分解を抑制し耐湿熱性に優れることから、メラミン等で被覆されたポリリン酸アンモニウムが特に好ましい。
難燃剤(C)の含有量が10質量部を超えると、両面粘着テープの粘着物性が低下したり、テープ重量が増加したりする傾向がある。

ここで、Xは粘着剤層(I)の厚み、Yは粘着剤層(II)の厚みを示す。

本発明において、粘着剤層(I)の厚み(X)と粘着剤層(II)の厚み(Y)の比(Y/X)は1.00を超えて2.00未満とする。粘着剤層の厚み比(Y/X)を、1.00を超えて2.00未満とすることにより、本発明の両面粘着テープは、難燃性と粘着性のいずれにもバランスよく優れた両面粘着テープとなる。
なお、粘着力は被着体の組成(材質)や表面状態(表面粗さ)、処理(洗浄)条件等で変わるため、上記の粘着力範囲に限定されるものではない。

また、本試験片は両面テープであることから、後記実施例と同様に、試験しない粘着面はJIS C 2318に規定される呼び厚さ25番のポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム「ルミラー S10」(東レ株式会社製)で覆って測定することができる。
本発明の両面粘着テープは、難燃性と初期も含め中長期にわたり強粘着性が求められる部材(鏡やカーペット類等)の固定等の種々の用途に用いられるが、とりわけ航空機部材固定用に用いられることが好ましい。
なお、上記質量の下限としては通常50g/m2である。
かかる厚みが厚すぎると航空機での使用に適した重量粋を超過してしまう傾向があり、薄すぎると十分な難燃性や粘着性や接着力が得られなくなる傾向がある。
かかる比率が小さすぎると基材に対して粘着剤層が薄すぎるため、十分な粘着力を得ることができない傾向があり、大きすぎると基材に対して粘着剤層が厚すぎるため、粘着剤層に発泡が生じる等製造が困難になったり、コストが高くなったりする傾向がある。
本発明の両面粘着テープの製造方法については、公知一般の両面粘着テープの製造方法を用いればよく、例えば、基材の一方の面に粘着剤を塗布・乾燥し、形成された粘着剤層の表面にリリースライナーを重ねる方法、あるいはリリースライナーの一方の面に粘着剤を塗布・乾燥し、形成された粘着剤層の表面に基材を重ねる方法によって製造することができる。
そして、該両面粘着テープがロール状態の場合には、2つの粘着剤層の一方の表面のみにリリースライナーが設けられることが好ましく、枚葉状態の場合には、2つの粘着剤層の両方の表面にリリースライナーが設けられることが好ましい。
特に好適には、カーペット、床材、樹脂シート、樹脂塗膜である。
<アクリル系樹脂(A−1)の調製>
温度計、攪拌機及び還流冷却機を備えた反応器内に、2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート51部、ブチルアクリレート40部、酢酸ビニル5部、アクリル酸3.9部、2−ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート0.1部、酢酸エチル40部及び重合開始剤としてアゾビスイソブチロニトリル0.18部を仕込み、攪拌しながら昇温し、酢酸エチル還流温度にて7時間重合させた後、酢酸エチルで希釈してアクリル系樹脂(A−1)の50%溶液を得た。
得られたアクリル系樹脂(A−1)の重量平均分子量は60万、分散度5.0、粘度は10,000mPa・s/25℃、ガラス転移温度は−59℃であった。
製造例1で調製したアクリル系樹脂(A−1)の固形分100部に対して、エポキシ系架橋剤1,3−ビス(N,N−ジグリシジルアミノメチル)シクロヘキサン(三菱ガス化学株式会社製、商品名「テトラッドC」)を0.008部及び適量の酢酸エチル、メチルエチルケトンを添加して均一になるまで混合し、紙製リリースライナー(住化加工紙株式会社製、商品名「SLB−50KWD」;原紙坪量53g/m2)の軽剥離面に塗工後の厚みが85μmになるようにアプリケーターを用いて塗工し、80℃で5分間乾燥し、粘着剤層(I)付き紙製リリースライナー(1−1)を製造した。
その後、40℃乾燥機中で7日間加熱エージング処理を行い、両面粘着テープを得た。
実施例1において、粘着剤層(I)の塗工後の厚みが72μmになるようにアプリケーターを用いて塗工した以外は同様にして、両面粘着テープを得た。

製造例1で調製したアクリル系樹脂(A−1)の固形分100部に対して、メラミン樹脂コーティング型ポリリン酸アンモニウム(II型)系難燃剤(BUDENHEIM,INC.製、商品名「TERRAJU C−80」)を5部、エポキシ系架橋剤1,3−ビス(N,N−ジグリシジルアミノメチル)シクロヘキサン(三菱ガス化学株式会社製、商品名「テトラッドC」)を0.008部及び適量の酢酸エチル、メチルエチルケトンを添加して均一になるまで混合し、紙製リリースライナー(住化加工紙株式会社製、商品名「SLB−50KWD」;原紙坪量53g/m2)の軽剥離面に塗工後の厚みが85μmになるようにアプリケーターを用いて塗工し、80℃で5分間乾燥し、粘着剤層(I)付き紙製リリースライナー(3−1)を製造した。
その後、40℃乾燥機中で7日間加熱エージング処理を行い、両面粘着テープを得た。
実施例4において、粘着剤層(I)の塗工後の厚みが72μmになるようにアプリケーターを用いて塗工した以外は同様にして、両面粘着テープを得た。

製造例1で調製したアクリル系樹脂(A−1)の固形分100部に対して、メラミン樹脂コーティング型ポリリン酸アンモニウム(II型)系難燃剤(BUDENHEIM,INC.製、商品名「TERRAJU C−80」)を5部、エポキシ系架橋剤1,3−ビス(N,N−ジグリシジルアミノメチル)シクロヘキサン(三菱ガス化学株式会社製、商品名「テトラッドC」)を0.012部及び適量の酢酸エチル、メチルエチルケトンを添加して均一になるまで混合し、紙製リリースライナー(住化加工紙株式会社製、商品名「SLB−50KWD」;原紙坪量53g/m2)の軽剥離面に塗工後の厚みが100μmになるようにアプリケーターを用いて塗工し、80℃で5分間乾燥し、粘着剤層(I)付き紙製リリースライナー(2−1)を製造した。
その後、40℃乾燥機中で7日間加熱エージング処理を行い、両面粘着テープを得た。
比較例2において、粘着剤層(I)の塗工後の厚みが120μmになるようにアプリケーターを用いて塗工し、粘着剤層(II)の塗工後の厚みが120μmになるようにアプリケーターを用いて塗工した以外は同様にして、両面粘着テープを得た。
比較例2において、粘着剤層(I)の塗工後の厚みが85μmになるようにアプリケーターを用いて塗工し、粘着剤層(II)の塗工後の厚みが85μmになるようにアプリケーターを用いて塗工した以外は同様にして、両面粘着テープを得た。
比較例2において、粘着剤層(II)にメラミン樹脂コーティング型ポリリン酸アンモニウム(II型)系難燃剤(BUDENHEIM,INC.製、商品名「TERRAJU C−80」)を添加しなかった以外は同様にして、両面粘着テープを得た。
比較例2において、粘着剤層(I)のメラミン樹脂コーティング型ポリリン酸アンモニウム(II型)系難燃剤(BUDENHEIM,INC.製、商品名「TERRAJU C−80」)添加量を20部とし、粘着剤層(II)のメラミン樹脂コーティング型ポリリン酸アンモニウム(II型)系難燃剤(BUDENHEIM,INC.製、商品名「TERRAJU C−80」)添加量を20部とした以外は同様にして、両面粘着テープを得た。
上記得られた両面粘着テープの粘着力を測定する粘着剤層(I)の裏面(粘着剤層(II))を、粘着剤層(II)に接したリリースライナーを剥して厚み25μmのポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(東レ株式会社製、「ルミラー S10」)で裏打ちを行い、幅25mm、長さ150mmにカットして試験片を作製した。
○:貼合5分後の粘着力が25N/25mm以上かつ貼合3日後の粘着力が30N/25mm以上であった。
△:貼合5分後の粘着力が15N/25mm以上25N/25mm未満かつ貼合3日後の粘着力が30N/25mm以上であった。
×:貼合5分後の粘着力が15N/25mm未満または貼合3日後の粘着力が30N/25mm未満であった。
上記得られた両面粘着テープの粘着力を測定する粘着剤層(I)の裏面(粘着剤層(II))を、粘着剤層(II)に接したリリースライナーを剥して厚み25μmのポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(東レ株式会社製、「ルミラー S10」)で裏打ちを行い、幅25mm、長さ150mmにカットして試験片を作製した。
○:貼合3日後の粘着力が3N/25mm以上であった。
×:貼合3日後の粘着力が3N/25mm未満であった。
上記得られた両面粘着テープを用いて、14CFR Part 25 Appendix F Part I Section (a)(1)(ii)に記載された燃焼性試験を実施して合格/不合格の判定を行った。
下記表中では、合格の場合を「○」、不合格の場合を「×」として表す。
上記得られた両面粘着テープを用いて、垂直法燃焼性試験機(株式会社大栄科学精器製作所製 VFT−200)を用いて試験を行い、下記基準に基づき評価した。結果を下記表3に示す。
試験片の大きさは、長さ30cm(12inch)、幅7.5cm(3inch)とし、炎の大きさは約38mm(1.5inch)、試験片とバーナーの距離は約20mm(3/4inch)、炎の接触時間は12秒とした。
○:試験を2回実施し、平均値が以下の条件を全て満たした。
×:試験を2回実施し、平均値が以下の条件を1つ以上満たさなかった。
(燃焼時間)試験片の炎が、離炎後15秒以内に消火した。
(燃焼長)試験片の消失長さが200mm(8inch)以下であり、かつ試験片が2回実施した試験全てにおいて全焼しなかった。
(滴下物有無)ドリップ(試験片より落下した燃えカス)は5秒以内に消火した。
Claims (9)
- 粘着剤層(I)、基材、粘着剤層(II)の層構成をこの順に有する両面粘着テープであって、前記粘着剤層(I)の厚み(X)と前記粘着剤層(II)の厚み(Y)の比(Y/X)が1.00を超えて2.00未満である、両面粘着テープ。
- 前記粘着剤層(I)及び前記粘着剤層(II)が、アクリル系樹脂(A)を含有する粘着剤組成物からなる、請求項1に記載の両面粘着テープ。
- 前記粘着剤組成物が、さらに架橋剤(B)を含有する、請求項2に記載の両面粘着テープ。
- 前記粘着剤層(I)及び前記粘着剤層(II)の少なくとも一方が、難燃剤(C)を含有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の両面粘着テープ。
- 前記難燃剤(C)の全質量の90%以上が、前記粘着剤層(II)に含有される、請求項4に記載の両面粘着テープ。
- 前記難燃剤(C)が、前記粘着剤層(II)のみに含有される、請求項4又は5に記載の両面粘着テープ。
- 前記難燃剤(C)が、ハロゲンを含有しない難燃剤である、請求項4〜6のいずれか1項に記載の両面粘着テープ。
- 前記基材が、フラットヤーンクロスを含有する基材である、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の両面粘着テープ。
- 航空機部材固定用に用いられる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の両面粘着テープ。
