Description
Claims (8)
- エンジンの排気ガス浄化装置において、
前記エンジンの排気ポートに接続された排気管内に配設される触媒と、
前記排気管における前記触媒より上流側に設けられる接続点に接続され、該接続点に生じる負圧に応じて二次空気を前記排気管内に導入する二次空気導入系と、
前記排気管における前記二次空気導入系の接続点より下流側に配設され、前記触媒を通過する排気ガスの空燃比を取得するための基礎データを検出するセンサと、
前記センサにより検出された基礎データに基づく空燃比が目標空燃比となるように、燃料供給装置から前記エンジンに供給される燃料量を制御する手段と、
を含むことを特徴とするエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 請求の範囲第1項に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置において、
前記目標空燃比は理論空燃比である、
ことを特徴とするエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 請求の範囲第1項に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置において、
前記排気管の下流端部は消音器内に収容され、
前記消音器は複数の膨張室を備え、
前記センサはいずれかの前記膨張室内における前記基礎データを検出するよう設けられる、
ことを特徴とするエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - エンジンの排気ガス浄化装置において、
前記エンジンの排気ポートに接続された排気管内に配設される触媒と、
前記排気管における前記触媒より上流側に設けられる接続点に接続され、二次空気を前記排気管内に導入する二次空気導入系と、
複数の膨張室を備え、前記排気管の下流端部が内部に配置される消音器と、
前記複数の膨張室のうちいずれかの内部において、前記触媒を通過する排気ガスの空燃比を取得するための基礎データを検出するセンサと、
前記センサにより検出された基礎データに基づいて、前記触媒を通過する排気ガスの空燃比を制御する手段と、
を含むことを特徴とするエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 請求の範囲第3項又は第4項に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置において、
前記センサは前記複数の膨張室のうち最も上流側に設けられた膨張室内における前記基礎データを検出するよう設けられる、
ことを特徴とするエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 請求の範囲第3項又は第4項に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置において、
前記排気管はU字状に屈曲する屈曲部を備え、
前記排気管の下流端部は前記屈曲部とともに前記消音器内に収容され、
前記センサは前記複数の膨張室のうち最も前記エンジンに近い側に設けられた膨張室内における前記基礎データを検出するよう設けられる、
ことを特徴とするエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 請求の範囲第3項又は第4項に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置において、
前記センサは、前記排気管から前記膨張室に排出される排気ガスの前記膨張室内における流通経路上の前記基礎データを検出するよう設けられる、
ことを特徴とするエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。 - 請求の範囲第7項に記載のエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置において、
前記センサは、前記排気管の下流端部に設けられた開口の前方における前記基礎データを検出するよう設けられる、
ことを特徴とするエンジンの排気ガス浄化装置。
