以下、本発明による棒状化粧料繰出容器の好適な実施形態について図1〜図9を参照しながら説明する。図1は、本発明の実施形態に係る棒状化粧料繰出容器を示す縦断面図、図2及び図3は、棒状化粧料カートリッジを示す各図、図4〜図6は、カートリッジ筒を示す各図、図7及び図8は、芯チャックを示す各図、図9は、螺旋筒を示す図であり、本実施形態の棒状化粧料繰出容器は、例えば、アイライナー、アイブロー、リップライナー等の棒状化粧料を収容し、使用者が必要に応じて適宜出没可能とする棒状化粧料繰出容器である。
図1に示すように、棒状化粧料繰出容器1は、全体形状が筆記具の如き細長い丸棒状(スティック状)を成し良好な外観を呈するもので、棒状化粧料Mを収容する棒状化粧料カートリッジ2を、カートリッジ収容容器3の先端側(図示左側)に着脱可能に備えると共に、このカートリッジ収容容器3の後端側に、スクリューブラシ5を保持するブラシホルダ4を着脱可能に備える構成とされている。そして、ここで用いられる棒状化粧料Mは、図3に示すように、横断面が扁平な楕円形状のものである。
図1に示すように、カートリッジ収容容器3は、両端が開放されて成る円筒形状に構成されている。このカートリッジ収容容器3は、筒内の略中間位置が中仕切3aで仕切られ、中仕切3aより先端側の筒内に、棒状化粧料カートリッジ2の後部を収容する空間が画成されると共に、中仕切3aより後端側の筒内に、ブラシホルダ4の後部を収容する空間が画成されている。
この両空間を仕切る中仕切3aには、その中央に、棒状化粧料カートリッジ2を収容する空間に向かう係合部3bが突設されている。この係合部3bは、棒状化粧料カートリッジ2を構成する内筒としての螺旋筒8(詳しくは後述)を回転不能に連結するためのもので、横断面が略十字状を成す形状とされている。なお、中仕切3aの他方側にも、棒状化粧料カートリッジ2と同様な構成のカートリッジを装着可能とすべく、上記係合部3bと同様な形状の係合部が突設されている。
また、カートリッジ収容容器3は、その先端の開口寄りの内周面に、棒状化粧料カートリッジ2を構成する外筒としてのカートリッジ筒6(筒容器;詳しくは後述)を相対回転可能に装着するための環状溝部3cを備えている。
棒状化粧料カートリッジ2は、図2及び図5に示すように、段付円筒形状のカートリッジ筒6と、図2及び図7に示すように、カートリッジ筒6内に収容されて軸線方向に延在し先端に棒状化粧料Mを把持して進退する芯チャック7と、図2及び図9に示すように、カートリッジ筒6内の後部側に収容されて芯チャック7と螺合する円筒形状の螺旋筒8と、を備えている。これらのカートリッジ筒6、芯チャック7及び螺旋筒8は、棒状化粧料Mを進退させる進退機構として機能する(詳しくは後述)。
カートリッジ筒6は、図2、図4及び図5に示すように、先端側の摘み部としての大径部6aと、この大径部6aの後端に外周段部6bを介し外周面が小径とされて連続する小径部6cとを、例えば合成樹脂等の可撓材で一体成形して成る。大径部6aは、先端に向けて次第に外径が細くなる先細り形状を成し、小径部6cがカートリッジ収容容器3の内径より小とされて挿入可能とされている。
このカートリッジ筒6には、小径部6cの先端側で軸線を挟む180°対称位置に、弾性係合部6d,6dが各々設けられている。この弾性係合部6dは、カートリッジ筒6の周壁に穿設されるコの字状割溝6eにより形成され、成形材である合成樹脂等の可撓性に従って板バネの役割を果たす半島部6fと、この半島部6fの外周面から突出する係合突部6gと、を備えている。
そして、図1に示すように、その後部がカートリッジ収容容器3に内挿されるカートリッジ筒6は、板バネを成す半島部6fの係合突部6gが上記カートリッジ収容容器3の環状溝部3cに嵌入し係合することで、カートリッジ収容容器3に着脱可能且つ相対回転自在に装着されている。このカートリッジ筒6の係合突部6gは、板バネを成す半島部6fの弾発力により付勢されてカートリッジ収容容器3の環状溝部3cに当接し、回転抵抗を発生させている。
カートリッジ筒6の内周面は、図4〜図6に示すように、先端から多少内側寄りの範囲迄が、棒状化粧料Mのみを通過可能とする小径孔6iとされ、この小径孔6iの後端から筒後端迄が、棒状化粧料Mを把持する芯チャック7を進退可能に収容すると共に螺旋筒8を収容する収容孔6mとされている。
小径孔6iは、図6に示すように、棒状化粧料Mの形状に対応する楕円形状とされている。この小径孔6iに続く収容孔6mは、図4〜図6に示すように、芯チャック7の棒状化粧料Mを把持するチャック部7a(図7参照;詳しくは後述)が進退する範囲が第一収容孔6jとされ、この第一収容孔6jの後端に内周段部6xを介し内周が大径とされて連続する筒後端迄が第二収容孔6kとされている。
第一収容孔6jは、棒状化粧料Mを通過可能とする小径孔(棒状化粧料進退孔)6iを連続して備えると共に、この小径孔6iに加えて、その外周面に、芯チャック7の進退機構の一部である回転止め機構及び進退案内機構を構成する進退溝6pを連設して備えている。この進退溝6pは、芯チャック7の把持片7dが進退するもので、把持片7dの形状に対応する形状とされている(詳しくは後述)。
また、第二収容孔6kは、略円形形状とされ、図4及び図5に示すように、後端寄りの位置に、螺旋筒8を相対回転可能に装着するための環状溝部6hを備えている。
螺旋筒8は、例えば合成樹脂等の可撓性材で形成され、図9に示すように、その内周面の先端から後端部近傍迄の範囲に亘って、芯チャック7の進退機構の一部である螺合機構を構成する螺旋溝8aを軸線に沿って備えると共に、後端寄りの外周面に、環状突部8bを備えている。
そして、図2に示すように、カートリッジ筒6の第二収容孔6kに内挿される螺旋筒8は、その環状突部8bが上記カートリッジ筒6の環状溝部6hに嵌入し係合することで、カートリッジ筒6に相対回転自在に装着されている。
また、螺旋筒8には、図2及び図9に示すように、その後端部に、半径方向(放射方向)に弾力的に押し開き可能な弾性突部8cが後方へ突出するように設けられている。この弾性突部8cは、周方向に沿う四箇所で等間隔に配設される四片の突部である。
そして、カートリッジ筒6内の螺旋筒8は、図1に示すように、その弾性突部8c,8c間に、上記カートリッジ収容容器3の中仕切3aに設けられている十字状を成す係合部3bの各突部が進入するようにして係合することで、軸線方向の移動が拘束されること無くカートリッジ収容容器3に回転不能に連結されている。
すなわち、カートリッジ収容容器3と螺旋筒8とは回転不能に連結され、カートリッジ筒6は、これらのカートリッジ収容容器3及び螺旋筒8に対して相対回転自在に連結されている。
芯チャック7は、図4及び図7に示すように、棒状化粧料Mの基端部を把持するチャック部7aと、このチャック部7aの後端に連続し軸線方向に延在する芯チャック軸7bと、を、例えば合成樹脂等の可撓材で一体成形して成る。
図2に示すように、螺旋筒8に内挿される芯チャック軸7bは、図7に示すように、その後部の軸線を挟む180°対称位置に、螺旋筒8の螺旋溝8aに係合する螺合機構としての螺合突起7gを各々備えている。芯チャック軸7bの螺合突起7gを備える部分には、これらの螺合突起7g,7gを二股に分けるように後端面から割溝7fが形成され、この割溝7fにより、各々の螺合突起7gは、半径方向に弾性変形可能とされ、螺旋筒8の螺旋溝8aにガタ付き無く確実に螺合されている。
図2に示すように、カートリッジ筒6の第一収容孔6jに内挿されるチャック部7aは、図3、図4、図7及び図8に示すように、棒状化粧料Mの基端部が突き当てられる基部7cと、棒状化粧料Mの基端部を把持すると共にカートリッジ筒6の進退溝6pに係合する回転止め機構及び進退案内機構としての把持片7dと、を備えている。
基部7cは、図7及び図8に示すように、楕円形状の棒状化粧料Mに略合致する楕円形状の厚板に構成されている。
把持片7dは、図8に示すように、基部7cの長軸及び短軸を除く外周位置の四箇所に、図4及び図7に示すように、先端側に向かって突出するように設けられている。このように把持片7dは、基部7cを長軸及び短軸により4つの領域に分割したときに、それら4つの領域に少なくとも一個づつ配置されていると好ましい。なお本実施形態では、これら四個の把持片7dは、基部7cの長軸及び短軸に対して対称に配置されている。
これら四個の把持片7dは、図4及び図8に示すように、内周面7x及び外周面7yが弧状の曲面に形成され、横断面において内周線に比して外周線が長くされる略扇形形状とされている。そして、内周線は棒状化粧料Mの外形に沿う弧状に形成され、よって内周面7xは棒状化粧料Mを把持可能に構成されていると共に、外周線が、長軸側に向かうに従って扇を小さくする線とされている。
また、把持片7dは、図4、図7及び図8に示すように、その先端側端面の内周側位置が、棒状化粧料Mを把持片同士の間に円滑に導くべくテーパー面7eに形成されていると共に、図4及び図8に示すように、内周面7xに、軸方向に沿って延びる突状7fを備え、これら四個の把持片7dが棒状化粧料Mを把持すると共に、内周面7xの突状7fが、棒状化粧料Mの回転方向の移動を阻止する。
そして、図3、図4及び図6に示すように、上記カートリッジ筒6の小径孔(棒状化粧料進退孔)6iは、楕円形状の棒状化粧料Mの外周面に近接するように形成され、進退溝6pは、略扇形形状の把持片7dの外周面に近接するように形成されている。
また、図1に示すように、カートリッジ収容容器3の後端側のブラシホルダ4は、カートリッジ収容容器3の後端の開口を塞ぐように装着され、このブラシホルダ4に保持されてカートリッジ収容容器3から露出する塗布具としてのスクリューブラシ5は、ブラシホルダ4に着脱可能に装着されるテールキャップ9により覆われている。
このような構成を有する棒状化粧料繰出容器1を組み立てる場合には、先ず、棒状化粧料カートリッジ2をユニットとして組み立てる。
この棒状化粧料カートリッジ2の組立にあっては、先ず、螺旋筒8と芯チャック7とを相対回転しながら、芯チャック7の芯チャック軸7bを螺旋筒8の先端側の開口から内挿し螺旋筒8の螺旋溝8aと芯チャック7の芯チャック軸7bの螺合突起7gとを螺合状態として螺旋筒8の後端側へ送り込む。
次いで、この組立体を、チャック部7aの把持片7dの位置とカートリッジ筒6の進退溝6pの位置とが合うようにして、その先端側のチャック部7a側からカートリッジ筒6の後端の開口へ内挿していく。
ここで、把持片7dは内側に倒れ易く、成形収縮等により内側に倒れている場合があり、従来は成形時の冷却時間を長くしたり、成形条件等を調整する必要があったが、本実施形態では、横断面略扇形形状の把持片7dが内側に倒れていても、当該把持片7dが、カートリッジ筒6の当該把持片7dの外周面に近接する(把持片7dの相似形を成す)進退溝6pに挿入されていくと、把持片7dの内側への倒れは当該進退溝6pに倣って矯正され正常に開くことになる。
そして、カートリッジ筒6の内周段部6xに螺旋筒8の先端面を突き当てることで、螺旋筒8の環状突部8bがカートリッジ筒6の環状溝部6hに嵌入し係合して、上記組立体がカートリッジ筒6に相対回転自在に装着される。
次いで、棒状化粧料Mを、その基端部側からカートリッジ筒6の先端の開口へ挿入していく。この時、把持片7dは、進退溝6pに矯正されて正常に開いているため、把持片7dへの棒状化粧料Mの取り付けは容易とされる。そして、棒状化粧料Mを、芯チャック7のチャック部7aに把持させることで、棒状化粧料カートリッジ2が得られる。
次いで、このようにして得られた棒状化粧料カートリッジ2を、その後端側からカートリッジ収容容器3の先端の開口へ内挿し、カートリッジ筒6の外周段部6bをカートリッジ収容容器3の先端面を突き当てることで、カートリッジ筒6の係合突部6gがカートリッジ収容容器3の環状溝部3cに嵌入し係合し、カートリッジ筒6がカートリッジ収容容器3に着脱可能且つ相対回転自在に装着されると共に、螺旋筒8の弾性突部8cがカートリッジ収容容器3の中仕切3の係合部3bに係合し、螺旋筒8がカートリッジ収容容器3に回転不能に連結され、これにより、棒状化粧料繰出容器1が得られる。
このように、本実施形態においては、棒状化粧料カートリッジ2がユニットとして組み立てられてからカートリッジ収容容器3に装着されるため、棒状化粧料繰出容器1の組み立てが容易とされ、製造コストの低減が図られている。
次に、このような棒状化粧料繰出容器1により棒状化粧料Mを塗布する場合について説明する。この場合には、カートリッジ筒6のカートリッジ収容容器3から露出する大径部6aを摘むと共にカートリッジ収容容器3を摘み、これらを相対回転する。ここでは、カートリッジ収容容器3を回転するとして説明する。
すると、カートリッジ収容容器3の中仕切3の係合部3bと棒状化粧料カートリッジ2の螺旋筒8の弾性突部8cとが回転方向に係合しているため、螺旋筒8が、カートリッジ収容容器3と共に一体に回転する。この時、カートリッジ収容容器3は、カートリッジ筒6の係合突部6gとの間の回転抵抗に抗して回転する。
この時、螺旋筒8の螺旋溝8aに螺合している螺合突起7gを有する芯チャック7は、把持片7dが、カートリッジ筒6の回転止め機構及び進退案内機構としての進退溝6pに回転不能且つ軸線方向移動可能に係合しているため、カートリッジ筒6内を前進し、棒状化粧料Mはカートリッジ筒6の先端から繰り出される。
そして、棒状化粧料Mが所望長さに繰り出されたら、カートリッジ収容容器3とカートリッジ筒6との相対回転を停止する。すると、カートリッジ筒6の係合突部6gとカートリッジ収容容器3の環状溝部3cとの間に生じている回転抵抗に従って、カートリッジ収容容器3とカートリッジ筒6とは所定の係合状態と維持される。
従って、この状態で、使用者は、カートリッジ収容容器3を持って棒状化粧料Mを塗布すれば良い。この時、塗布面から棒状化粧料M、回転止め機構を介して、カートリッジ筒6へ外力が作用するが、当該カートリッジ筒6の回転は、上記回転抵抗により阻止される。
ここで、カートリッジ収容容器3とカートリッジ筒6とをさらに相対回転し、芯チャック7をさらに繰出方向に移動して最大に繰り出すと、芯チャック7が前進限に達し、芯チャック7のそれ以上の前進が阻止される。
この状態で、さらに相対回転を継続すると、芯チャック7の前進が阻止されているため、カートリッジ収容容器3の中仕切3の係合部3bが、螺旋筒8の弾性突部8cを半径方向に押し広げて係合を解除すると共に、カートリッジ筒6と芯チャック7と螺旋筒8とが一体とされてカートリッジ収容容器3に対して相対回転されて空転する。このように、螺旋筒8の弾性突部8cは所謂トルクリミッターとして機能する。
そして、塗布が終わったら、使用者が、カートリッジ収容容器3とカートリッジ筒6とを上記とは逆方向に相対回転することで、棒状化粧料Mがカートリッジ筒6内に引き込まれる。
ここで、消耗等により棒状化粧料Mを交換する必要が生じた場合には、棒状化粧料カートリッジ2をカートリッジ収容容器3から抜脱し、交換用(新規)の棒状化粧料カートリッジ2を上記と同様にしてカートリッジ収容容器3に装着すれば良く、利便性、実用性の向上が図られている。
ところで、このような棒状化粧料繰出容器1をバックに入れて携行している際に押圧してしまったり、棒状化粧料繰出容器1を例えば床等に落としてしまった場合には、当該棒状化粧料繰出容器1には予期しない外力が作用することになる。
しかしながら、本実施形態の棒状化粧料繰出容器1にあっては、前述したように、横断面楕円形状の棒状化粧料Mは、その長軸及び短軸を除く外周位置の四箇所で把持片7dにより四面から把持されているため、しっかりと把持されていると共に、把持片7dが、横断面略扇形形状とされていることから、把持片7dに十分な肉厚が確保されていて、加えて、カートリッジ筒6内の進退孔6iが、棒状化粧料Mの外周面に近接して形成され且つカートリッジ筒6内の進退溝6pが、把持片7dの外周面に近接して形成されていることから、外力がカートリッジ筒6全体で受け止められるようになっていて、且つ、このように把持片7dが横断面略扇形形状にされると共にカートリッジ筒6内の進退溝6pが把持片7dの外周面に近接して形成されていることから、外力が作用しても棒状化粧料Mを把持している把持片7dが内側へ倒れるということが無くされている。
従って、本実施形態の棒状化粧料繰出容器1では、棒状化粧料Mの折れ、抜けが確実に防止されている。
また、本実施形態にあっては、上述のように、横断面楕円形状の棒状化粧料Mを把持する把持片7dが、棒状化粧料Mの基端部が突き当てられ横断面略楕円形状を成す基部7cの長軸及び短軸を除く外周位置の四箇所に設けられると共に横断面略扇形形状とされ、且つ、横断面において把持片7dの外周線が長軸側に向かうに従って扇を小さくする線にされていると共に、カートリッジ筒6内の進退孔6iが、棒状化粧料Mの外周面に近接して形成され且つカートリッジ筒6内の進退溝6pが、把持片7dの外周面に近接して形成されていることから、棒状化粧料Mの基端部に平坦な切欠部を設けることが不要とされる簡易な構成で、チャック部7aを収容するカートリッジ筒6が半径方向に小さくされている。
従って、本実施形態の棒状化粧料繰出容器1では、棒状化粧料Mを脆くすること無く製造コストの低減及び容器1の小型化が図られている。
また、本実施形態にあっては、上述のように、把持片7dが横断面略扇形形状にされると共に、カートリッジ筒6内の進退溝6pが把持片7dの外周面に近接し相似形に形成されていることから、組立の際に把持片7dが内側に倒れていても当該把持片7dがカートリッジ筒6内の略同形状の進退溝6pに挿入されていくことで、把持片7dは進退溝6pに倣って矯正されて正常に開き、把持片7dへの棒状化粧料の取り付けが容易とされている。
従って、本実施形態の棒状化粧料繰出容器1では、製造コストの低減が一層図られている。
なお、本実施形態の棒状化粧料繰出容器1に適用するのに最も効果的であるのは、特に横断面が扁平な楕円形状の棒状化粧料Mであるが、棒状化粧料は楕円形状であれば肉厚であっても良い。
以上、本発明をその実施形態に基づき具体的に説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば、上記実施形態においては、カートリッジ収容容器3の後端側に、スクリューブラシ4を装着するようにしているが、これに代えて、先端側の棒状化粧料Mと色や種類の相違する棒状化粧料を備える棒状化粧料カートリッジや、液状化粧料カートリッジを装着することも可能である。
また、上記実施形態においては、把持片7dの外周面7yを曲面としているが、必ずしも曲面に限定されるものではなく、例えばフラット面等であっても良い。
また、上記実施形態においては、組立の容易性、棒状化粧料Mの交換等を考慮し最も好ましい形態として、棒状化粧料カートリッジ2を、カートリッジ収容容器3に対して着脱可能としているが、抜脱不能に固定するようにしても勿論良い。

As shown in FIG. 1, in the cartridge cylinder 6 whose rear portion is inserted into the cartridge housing container 3, the engaging projection 6g of the peninsula portion 6f forming the leaf spring is fitted into the annular groove 3c of the cartridge housing container 3.
