Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify mechanism necessary for collecting a bulk material by installing the lower end pulleys of a pair of endless conveyor belts each displaceably between high and low positions and a feeder rotatably centering around the vertical axis, on their respectively supporting frames. CONSTITUTION:In a feeder 5, projecting impellers 11 occupy the revolving angle position on the lower side of a conveyor belt 3A, and the lower end pulley 4A of the belt 3A is placed in a high position while the lower end pulley 4B of the other belt 3B is placed in a low position. And, as the belts 3A, 3B are driven while rotating the impellers 11 and ribbon screws 17A, 17B, an accumulated bulk material on the left side of the feeder 5 is scraped up from the axial direction side of the impellers 11 toward the impellers 11 due to the screws 17A, 17B, and the impellers 11 project the bulk material fed into the screws 17A, 17B to the conveying face of the belt 3B, i.e., the close-contact starting zone between the belts 3A, 3B. As a result, the projected bulk material is held between the belts 3A, 3B and vertically conveyed, to be conveyed to a quay side from the upper part of a supporting frame 2 along a boom.
