Abstract

PURPOSE:To control a bad influence caused by eddy current resulting from outside fluctuating magnetic field with forming uniform magnetic field on the side of a coil axial core of an inner cylinder by locating it on the side of the coil axial core of a cooling medium tank and providing a superconducting substance in a condition that a closed loop is not formed. CONSTITUTION:Superconducting substances 8 which are projected more than then on both end faces in the direction parallel with a coil axial core P of a cooling medium tank 3 is provided on the outer surface at the side of the coil axial core P of the cooling medium tank 3. The superconducting substances 8 are formed of tape-shaped plates 8a composed of niobium and titanium, and both end parts thereof are overlapped only with fixed length S, but, since insulating coats are formed on the tape-shaped plates 8a, they are overlapped and arranged gradually in the direction of the coil axial core P in the condition that a closed loop is not formed and bonded by bonding agent, welding and the like on the outer surface of the cooling medium tank 3.
