Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable attainment of large inductance when DC superposed current flowing through an iron core is small, by inserting a nonmagnetic gap board and a magnetic gap board into a gap part of the iron core. CONSTITUTION:A gap part 1' is formed in a part of a ring-shaped troidal iron core 1. In this gap part 1', a gap board 2 of a nonmagnetic body is put on the outside in the radius direction of the iron core 1 and a gap board 3 formed on a magnetic body on the inside of the radius direction thereof. For a material of the magnetic gap board 3, a permalloy, an Si-Fe alloy or the like is suitable, for instance. A choke coil is formed by winding a coil round the iron core 1 thus constituted.
