Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a sufficient effect of preventing back swing by constituting a device controlling a brake fluid pressure to be reduced over two or more times in a condition, that a car speed decreases to a reference value or less, while setting the pressure reducing time per one time pressure reducing control in accordance with the vehicle deceleration before the pressure reducing control is started. CONSTITUTION:In case of stopping a running vehicle, when operation of a brake pedal is continued till the vehicle stops, a back swing is generated to the rear in the time of stopping. In order to prevent this back swing, in a process of applying a brake by supplying a brake fluid pressure to a brake cylinder A, deceleration of a vehicle in its zero speed is controlled so as to approach zero as near as possible. That is, when a car speed, detected in a car speed detecting means B, decreases to a reference value or less, the brake fluid pressure is decreased over two or more times by a pressure reducing control means C. While a pressure reducing time setting means E sets the time in a manner wherein the lower is the vehicle deceleration detected by a deceleration detecting means D the shorter the pressure reducing time per one time control decreases.
