Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve radiation efficiency at low frequency range and to flatten the sound pressure characteristic of middle and high frequency range by composing an acoustic tube on the back face of a speaker unit and providing in the acoustic tube at least one hollow space having a cross-sectional area larger than the cross-sectional area of the acoustic tube. CONSTITUTION:A cabinet 5 to constitute the acoustic tube which is extended continuously from the speaker unit back surface and whose opening 8 is opened to a sound field and at least one hollow space 6 having the cross-sectional area larger than the cross-sectional area of the acoustic tube 5 are provided in the acoustic tube 5.
