Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a circuit breaker with the excellent arc-extinguishing performance and a small breaking capacity with less components and less assembly processes by combining a spacer integrally provided with an arc runner with a fixed terminal for use. CONSTITUTION:A movable arm 24 contacted or removed from a fixed terminal 22, a trip gear operating this movable arm 24 to the separation side, and an arc-extinguishing device 30 are arranged in a mold case 21, and a spacer 23 integrally having an arc runner 32 extended on the arc-extinguishing device is provided between the fixed terminal 22 and the inner wall face of the mold case 21 in contact with them. A trouble to form an arc runner separately and fit it to the fixed terminal can be omitted, the mold case can be used in common among equipments with different breaking capacities, and the increase of the number of components can be suppressed.
