That is, in the figure, 1 is a case made of resin such as U polymer, and both upper and lower sides (portions A and B in the figure) are open, and one opening side (A side in the figure) is open. Projections 3 are provided at the four corners of the upper end surface 2 of the case 1. Then, to inject a resin such as epoxy resin, the other opening B side is sealed with tape or the like to form a bottom.
After resin is injected from the opening A side, an element (not shown) such as a lead frame is set in a predetermined position within the case 1. Note that the display surface of the LED display will be on the B side after removing the tape.

いるのである。 In order to mount the LED display manufactured in this way on a printed circuit board, as shown in FIG. 2, it is set so that only the protrusion 3 comes into contact with the surface of the printed circuit board. That is, the protrusion 3
is provided to prevent the pattern 5 on the surface of the printed circuit board 4 from being damaged by the case.

has a substantially cubic or rectangular parallelepiped shape, so a ridge 6 is formed at the intersection of the lower end of the protrusion 3 and the upper end surface 2 of the case 1 (Fig. 1,
Figure 3). When the resin 7 is injected into the case 1, the resin 7 quickly rises to the upper end surface 2 through the corner portion 8 of the case 1. and,
The resin that has reached the upper end surface 2 protrudes out of the case along the ridge 6.

Afterwards, a predetermined lead frame is set.

Therefore, extra effort is required to separate the case 1, and the LED display may be damaged during the separation process, making it difficult to efficiently mass-produce high-quality LED displays.

ものである。(E) Embodiment FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing a main part of an embodiment of this invention. A curved portion 10 is provided between the upper end 3 of the projection 3 and the upper end surface 2 of the case 1, so that the upper end surface 2 of the case 1 rises in a curved manner toward the projections 3 at the four corners. That is, by connecting the protrusion 3 and the upper end surface 2 of the case 1 in a curved manner, the ridge 6 (see FIGS. 1 and 3) that conventionally appeared on the upper end surface 2 of the case 1 can be eliminated. It was designed to be eliminated.

When resin was injected using the case of this invention, it was confirmed through experiments by the inventor that no resin protruded outside the case. It has also been confirmed that the above effect can be obtained regardless of the radius of curvature of the curved portion 10.

Therefore, it becomes possible to efficiently mass-produce high-quality LED display devices.
