Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the sucking of the tear or dust in air dispersed by the spray of a measuring gas stream, by providing a gas supply means for supplying gas separate from the measuring gas in a chamber. CONSTITUTION:At first, the compressed air supplied to an air tank 30 by a compressor P is supplied to a chamber 26 to make the internal pressure thereof positive. Next, when the rod 34 of a linear DC motor 31 is allowed to advance toward a compression chamber 14, a piston 11 is raised to compress the measuring air in the compression chamber 14 and the compressed air is supplied to the chamber 26 to be blown out toward an eye H to be examined from am nozzle 24. After the finish of blowing-off, the robot 34 of a linear DC motor 32 is sucked toward a bobbin 32 and the piston 11 falls to reduce the pressure in the compression chamber 14 and the gas in the chamber 26 is sucked in a cylinder 10. At this time, clean air is supplied to the chamber 26 from the air tank 30 and, therefore, the tear or dust in air dispersed by the spray from the nozzle 27 is not sucked-in.
