Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress motor driving current and prevent heavy current from flowing to a motor at the time of releasing service interruption, by converting an output signal of a transformer to a pulse signal according to the frequency of the output signal, and by detecting the service interruption when the pulse number of the pulse signal comes to a set value or below. CONSTITUTION:By a waveform shaping circuit 10A, output signals at both the ends of the tertiary winding 33 of a transformer 3 are converted to pulse signals according to the frequency of the output signals. Through an AND gate 10c, pulse signals from the circuit 10A and a pulse signal generator 10B are taken, and the output is directed to a counter 10D. When the count value of the counter 10D comes to a set value or less, then from a comparing circuit 10E, the output of service interruption detecting signal is directed to gate controllers 12, 13. Then, control to diminish an ignition angle to GTOs 52, 72 is performed, and the driving current of a three-phase motor 8 is suppressed. Accordingly, even if power is fed after service interruption is released, excess current does not flow to the three-phase motor 8.
