Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve a highly accurate detection of a rotary position with limited errors, by arranging a superconductive member on a magnetized surface of a permanent magnet at a specified pitch and a magnetic sensor as opposed thereto. CONSTITUTION:A permanent resin magnet 27 is magnetized radially in a signal pole and a superconductive member 30 is arranged on the circumferential surface of the magnetization at a specified pitch. With such an arrangement, a magnetic field 35 with the permanent resin magnet 27 is generated intermittently at each pitch of the superconductive member 30 by a Meissner effect of the superconductive member 30 arranged at the specified pitch, namely, an effect of checking infiltration of a magnetic flux into the superconductive member 30, thereby permitting detection of a position with a magnetic sensor 28. Because of the single pole magnetization, the permanent resin magnet 27 can avoid demagnetization with a short wavelength as caused by a multiple magnetization, thereby enhancing a magnetic field in a magnetic sensor 8.
