Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive the reduction in size of the rotor and the improvement in the accuracy thereof by disposing and magnetizing the position and speed detecting patterns at a magnet disk and integrally mounting a plurality of magnetic reluctance effect elements on one substrate for detecting them. CONSTITUTION:The magnet disk 20 is magnetized in dense north and south pole patterns in segments corresponding to the poles of a rotor on the inner periphery. Magnetic reluctance effect elements 22, 23 such as, for example, four elements are carried on the same substrate 21. Since the elements 22, 23 directly exert in the disposition and size accuarcy the detecting accracy of the detector, they are integrally formed on one substrate 21 by using a photomechanical technology having excellent matching size accuracy. In this manner it can contrive the reduction in size of the rotor and can obtain a detector having high accuracy.
