CONSTITUTION:The reflecting mirror 1 is installed in one of the normal directions of the bare optical fibers f1-f5 led out of a multicore optical fiber F, and while illumination light l1 is projected on the bare optical fibers f1-f5 from the other normal direction, illumination light l2 is projected on the bare optical fibers f1-f5 from the different direction from the normal direction to perform inspection by observing the transmitted light image Y formed with the illumination light l1 reflected by the reflecting mirror 1 after passing through the bare optical fibers f1-f5 and the transmitted light image X formed with the illumination light l2 passing through the bare optical fibers f1-f5.
