Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower the relative humidity of the air in a room and prevent the moisture condensation to enhance the durability of a house and make it possible to keep a person living in the house healthy and improve the easiness of its use by turning ON and OFF a ventilation fan by a moisture sensor and making forced ventilation possible. CONSTITUTION:A ventilation fan 2 is provided at the opening section of a wall and its blast volume is set at the volume about three times the volume of a room per hour. Detection outputs of humidity sensors 3 and 5 and gas sensor 4 are transmitted to a control device K and this control device K operates selectively a dehumidifier 6 and humidifier 7 with the ventilation fan 2. And, by the output of the detection by the humidity sensor 3 the ventilation fan 2 is turned ON when the relative humidity goes over about 65% and turned OFF when it becomes smaller than about 60%. Because, when it is turned OFF with about 60%, the relative humidity of the room air settles at about 55%, the relative humidity can be maintained in the range of 55-65% under ordinary weather conditions and even with rooms with high air- tightness, it is possible to keep the relative humidity in those rooms in a suitable range in which illness through germs can be prevented and also prevent moisture condensation and contribute to maintaining the durability of the house and the health of persons living in the house.
