Abstract

PURPOSE: To control an output variation by installing a suction air-fuel ratio control part in a suction route, while installing an exhaust air-fuel ratio control part at the upstream side of an exhaust emission controlling catalyzer in an exhaust route, and setting an exhaust air-fuel ratio in a range inclusive of the active range of the catalyzer by the exhaust air-fuel ratio control.
CONSTITUTION: A gas engine is set down as a suction air-fuel ratio control part by connecting a main gas passage 8, having a gas regulator 7, to a fuel inlet 6 of a mixer 4 in a suction route as well as connecting an auxiliary gas passage 9, provided with an actuator valve 10 side by side, to the main gas passage 8 at the downstream side of the gas regulator 7. And, in an exhaust route, there are provided with an exhaust manifold 15, a supercharger 16 and catalytic converter rhodium 17. In this case, the fuel passage 21 provided with an actuator valve 22 side by side is connected to an interval between the main gas passage 8 at the more downstream side than the gas regulator 7 and an exhaust passage 18 lying between an oxygen sensor 14 of the supercharger 16, setting it down to an exhaust air-fuel ratio control part 20. With this constitution, an exhaust air-fuel ration is made settable within the active range of a catalyzer.
