Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a flashing discharge bulb with high speed performance by connecting a main capacitor for accumulation of flashing electric charges, a flashing discharge bulb, anode and cathode of thyristor, and drain source of MOS-FET in series and by supplying power. CONSTITUTION:A main capacitor 1, a flashing discharge bulb 2, anode and cathode of thyristor 101, and drain source of n-channel MOS-FET 102 are connected in series to form main discharge circuit. A parallel circuitry of constant voltage diode 103 and capacitor 104 is connected between the gate of the thyristor 101 and the source of n-channel MOS-FET 102, and the gate of thyristor 101 is biased from the anode of main capacitor 1 through a resistance 105. A series circuitry of the primary winding of a triggering transformer 8 and a triggering capacitor 7 is connected between the anode of thyristor 101 and the source of n-channel MOS-FET 102, and the anode of thyristor 101 is biased from the anode of main capacitor 1 by another resistance 106. This enables continuous light emission at short intervals.
