  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (a) エンジンの筒内圧を検出する圧力検出手段
    と、 (b) エンジンのクランク角を検出するクランク
    角検出手段と、 (c) 圧力検出手段の出力に基づいてエンジンの
    発生トルクを最大とする目標位置およびその前後
    の所定クランク角の筒内圧力をサンプリングする
    サンプリング手段と、 (d) サンプリング手段の出力から２次曲線を求
    め、該２次曲線の極大値となるクランク角を筒内
    圧最大時期として算出する最大時期演算手段と、 を備えたことを特徴とする筒内圧最大時期検出装
    置。
