Abstract
PURPOSE: To clean the inside of an inner case efficiently and restrain the supplying amount of atmospheric gas to the necessary minimum by a method wherein the upper lid of the inner case is elevated through an elevating mechanism by one stage, upon degreasing a matter to be treated, then, the atmospheric gas is sucked through the exhaust port of a bottom lid to direct the flow of the gas from the upper part toward the lower part of the inner case. CONSTITUTION: A furnace lid is closed and a screw jack 23 is operated to close a lower bang 9b. The temperature of inside of a heating chamber 7 is raised to a predetermined temperature by a heater 6 to effect degreasing treatment. In this case, an exhausting device, connected to an exhaust pipe 13, is operated. Then, atmospheric gas in the inner case 14 is exhausted through the exhaust pipe 13 whereby the matter to be treated and the inside of the heating chamber 7 are brought into cleaned condition. The screw jack 23 is operated to close the heating chamber 7 and the inside of the heating chamber 7 is heated for a predetermined period of time at the sintering temperature of the matter to be treated to sinter the same. Thereafter, the heating by the heater 6 is stopped and the screw jack 23 is operated, then, the lower bang 9b is elevated further and the lower part 8b of an insulating wall 4 is opened. Then, cooling gas is introduced into the insulating wall 4. The cooling gas is circulated through the inside of a furnace body 1 in such a manner whereby the matter to be treated is cooled.
