Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect rupture such as fatigue and destruction due to loosening and repetitive vibrations caused by repetitive loading with time in an initial set state as it is by sticking a vibrator on one side surface of a rod type fixing device main body and connecting it to a measuring instrument electrically. CONSTITUTION:The vibrator 5 such as a piezoelectric element type thickness vibrator, etc., is stuck on one end part of the rod type fixing device (bolt) main body 1' and connected to the electric measuring instrument 9 through a high-pass filter, etc. The vibrator 5 is vibrated with an ultrasonic wave and a reflected wave in the main body 1' is measured 9 to detect internal rupture; and high-frequency vibration is caused by the piezoelectric element type vibrator 15 provided at a different position of a base material 11 and received by the vibrator 5 through the base material 11 and main body 1' to detect the loosening, etc., of the bolt 1 due to a decrease in axial force. Therefore, the bolts and rivets of a bridge beam, etc., at an extremely high place can be inspected and the device is stuck and fixed at the position of the tip of many bolts at the time of their assembly clamping, thereby making the initial setting at low cost.
