<Conventional technology> Various methods of tie-dying used on silk and cotton fabrics have been well known since ancient times, such as Shibō-bō, Kanko-shibori, and Arimatsu-shibori. A typical method of tie-dying hard leather products is shown in FIG. 5, for example.

That is, the drawn protruding part 1 is formed by picking up the leather material 2 before painting by hand and tying it with thread 2, and if the dye is applied with a brush or the like in this state, it will be tied with the thread. This prevents the dye from penetrating into the exposed areas, resulting in so-called white spots, smudges, and blurred patterns. The conventional tie-dyeing method involves creating various patterns by creating white areas like this here and there on the leather surface.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> However, decorative leather products such as handbags that have been decorated with shibori patterns using this method have very Japanese patterns, so they cannot be worn with Western clothing. It does not go well with most modern clothing, and at the same time, the simple texture of its pattern makes it difficult to go beyond everyday use.

The present invention was made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and is suitable for both Western and Japanese clothing without sacrificing the beauty of the shibori pattern, and can be used in a wide range of applications such as handbags and other decorative leather that can be carried in formal occasions. The present invention provides leather materials for products and methods for manufacturing the same.

<Means for solving the problem> For this reason, the present invention abuts a mold rod on leather that has been previously painted, and ties the protruding portion with a thread using the mold rod as a core material over the leather. It has a configuration in which it is removed, a squeezed protruding part is applied, and it is lined with a sheet material.

In addition, as a manufacturing method, a small amount of moisture is applied to the surface of the leather that has been pre-painted, a mold rod serving as a core material is applied from the back side, and it is tied with thread to create a squeezed pattern on the leather surface, after which the thread is removed. A method was adopted in which a cloth was stretched on the back side of the leather.

In addition, only the leather part that has become soft due to moisture addition can be easily pushed out with the die rod, making the drawing process easier. Can be freely formed into shapes similar to protruding patterns on leather. The molding is done by tightly tying the leather with thread using a molding rod as a core material, and by removing this, a protruding pattern that accurately resembles the shape of the tip of the molding rod is created. Obtainable. At this time, since no moisture is added around the protruding pattern, the leather can maintain its flat state. By using pre-painted leather, the drawing pattern does not appear white, making it possible to create a Western-style atmosphere. At the same time, since the drawing pattern is reinforced with lining fabric, it is possible to maintain the shape of the drawing protrusion, and it also improves durability. It becomes possible to realize a leather material for leather products such as handbags that is excellent in terms of properties as well.

In FIG. 1, a leather material 12 used for decorative leather products such as handbags is coated with an alcoholic dye or the like in advance.
A diaphragm pattern with a number 1 is applied. As for the type of leather to be used, relatively soft materials such as gourd and yampi are preferred.

In order to create such a shibori pattern, please refer to Figure 2A.
As shown in the figure, the mold rod 14 that becomes the core material is inserted from the back side of the leather.
Press down to form the diaphragm protruding part 11, and wrap around 8 to 10 turns with thread 13 to fix the diaphragm. At this time, it is necessary to apply a small amount of moisture to the surface of the leather material 12 using a brush in order to make it easier to protrude the leather material 12 using the mold rod 14 and form a curl in that state. It is preferable to apply this moisture only to the squeezed portion. By doing so, it is possible to prevent the entire leather from losing its shape. The mold rod 14 and thread 13 are then untied immediately or after a short period of time, and left as they are for a while. When the leather material 12 is sufficiently dried, polish the surface with a soft cloth to make it shiny, and then add a color fixing agent (binder),
The surface finish is completed by applying a polishing agent (lacquer).

FIG. 2B shows the process of pasting a sheet material such as cloth 15 on the back side of the leather material 12 using an adhesive such as bond after finishing the surface processing. This ensures that the shape of the provided aperture pattern is maintained.

In this example, the shape of the tip of the mold rod was rounded and tapered, but for example, as shown in FIGS. A polygonal or heart-shaped molding rod may be used, and the size and shape of the protruding portion can be changed according to taste by selecting the molding rod, such as resembling the protruding pattern of natural leather such as ostrich. can.

<Effects of the Invention> As explained above, according to the present invention, moisture is locally applied to a leather material for decorative leather products such as handbags that has been previously painted, and protrusions are formed using a mold rod. The protruding part is tied tightly with thread from the outer surface of the leather using a mold rod as a core material, which is then removed and a shibori pattern is applied, and the shape closely follows the shape of the tip of the mold rod. Since a protruding drawing pattern can be obtained and moisture is not added to the surrounding area, the flat part of the entire leather can remain without deformation. For this reason, the protruding shibori pattern can be clearly expressed in contrast to other backgrounds. The leather obtained in this way has no white spots, bleeds, or blurred patterns and is suitable for both Western and Japanese clothing, and can also be used as formal wear. It can also fully respond to consumer trends. In addition, by lining the pressed leather, it is possible to maintain the unique beautiful shape of the pressed leather, and at the same time, it increases the durability of the leather as a whole, making it possible to sufficiently improve its usability. , has great practical effects.
