Cream solder 9 is placed on the soldering area, and when the table 5 moves and stops at the soldering area or the irradiation position, the shutter 4 opens and the light from the xenon lamp 1 or the elliptical condensing mirror 2. The light is focused and irradiated through the movable reflective mirror 3 onto the soldering area where the cream solder 9 is applied, and the pattern on the LEET 8 and the printed circuit board 6 is soldered.

In this case, since the heat capacity of the base material to be soldered (Leat 8 of IC7 and pattern) differs depending on the soldering location, by opening and closing the shutter for a certain period of time set in advance for each soldering location, soldering Is it necessary to control the amount of light irradiated to the area?

もあった。[Problems to be solved by the invention] As mentioned above, in the conventional soldering methods, the opening and closing of the shutter is controlled only by the preset opening and closing time without using any feedback signals. was. However, it has been found that determining the light irradiation-1 only by controlling the preset opening/closing time is not sufficient. In other words, the heat resistance of IC chips and other bonded parts mounted on the surface of a printed circuit board, the heat capacity of the base material REET or pattern even at the same soldering location, may vary slightly, and the solder placement may be uneven. In contrast, when light irradiation is performed under uniform preset conditions,
Sometimes the soldering was completed, but sometimes the soldering was still incomplete. That is, there was a problem in that the quality of soldering varied. Moreover, continuing to irradiate the soldered object with light is
Since the solder continues to be heated in a molten liquid phase, the temperature rises rapidly, which causes thermal damage to the electronic components to be bonded. Furthermore, when the solder is heated to the required level, the solder scatters or oxidizes, reducing the electrical conductivity and mechanical strength of the joint.

ることかてきる。In FIG. 3, when the table 5 that moves in the X-Y direction is driven and is properly placed at the soldering location covered with cream solder or at the irradiation position, the shutter controller 32 is activated by a signal from the CPU 30. Shutter 2
3 opens. Simultaneously with the opening of the shutter 23, a laser oscillator operates to oscillate laser light. Then, the xenon lamp light and laser light are irradiated onto the soldering location. Then, as the irradiation time passes, the cream solder 9 melts, and when the surface of the cream solder 9 becomes a mirror surface, the irradiated laser beam is strongly reflected in a certain direction. A photoelectric conversion element 17 receives the light through a BPF 16 that transmits only the wavelength of the irradiated laser light reflected from this mirror surface,
This signal is amplified by a preamplifier 18, converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter 31, and converted into an electric signal.
Input to PU30. When the CPU 30 detects the melting of the cream solder due to a change in the input signal, the CPU 30 sends a signal to the shutter controller 32, and the shutter 2 is activated by the control signal from the shutter controller 32.
3 to block the light from the xenon lamp. After the shutter 23 is closed, the chiffle 5 is driven by a signal sent from the CPU 30 to the chiffle controller 33, and sets the soldering location of the next printed circuit board to the irradiation position. Incidentally, in order to effectively condense the reflected light that is irradiated onto the cream solder 9 and reflected, it is possible to receive the light efficiently by receiving the light through the photoelectric conversion element 17 via a lens system (not shown). By determining the molten state of the solder and controlling the light irradiation based on the determination result, the molten state of the solder is detected by changes on the surface of the solder part and soldering is performed. Good quality soldering is achieved without poor soldering due to insufficient soldering or oxidation due to overheating of the solder, which reduces the conductivity and mechanical strength of the soldered points. Furthermore, since non-contact soldering is performed using light, there is no contamination of impurities, and there is no need to heat the surrounding area unnecessarily.
