Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、複数の熱可塑性樹脂部材を超音波でよう着(
溶着)する方法に関するものである。
〔従来の技術〕
近年、臨床化学検査においては、分析作業の簡易性、測
定の迅速性等の見地から、化学分析スライドを用いた乾
式法が多く用いられている。
この化学分析スライドは、一般に、第11図の分解斜視
図に示すように、上下に位置する上枠シート1及び下枠
シート2と、これらの間に位置する中枠シート3及び化
学分析フィルム4とで構成されている。また、上枠シー
ト1及び下枠シート2には略中央に点着孔5及び測定孔
6が穿設され、中枠シート3には化学分析フィルム4が
嵌合するフィルム孔7が穿設されている。そして、中枠
シ−ト3と上枠シート1及び下枠シート2が接合されて
一体となっている。
上枠シート、中枠シート、下枠シートは一般に熱可塑性
樹脂で作られており、射出成形等で成形して作ってもよ
いが、フープ材といわれるシート材を用いるのが能率的
である。熱可塑性樹脂(プラスチック)のフープ材を用
いて化学分析スライドを製造するには、第10図に示す
ように、下枠フープ材9、中枠フープ材10及び上枠フ
ープ材11を用い、下枠フープ材9に測定孔6を打抜装
置(図示せず)で穿設し、中枠フープ材10にフィルム
孔7を打抜き装W、(図示せず)で穿設した後、第1の
ホーン12で下枠フープ材9に中枠フープ材10をよう
着させる0次に、化学分析フィルム4をフィルム孔7に
嵌合させた後、打抜装置(図示せず)で点着孔5が穿設
された上枠フープ材11を重ね、第2のホーン13で上
枠フープ材11を中枠フープ材10によう着させる。そ
して、この一体になったフープ材9.10.11の所定
個所を打ち抜き化学分析スライドが完成する。
従来、このような工程において、各フープ材9゜10、
11を互いによう着するには、第9図に示すように、下
枠フープ材9としては両面が平滑なフープ材を用い、中
枠フープ材10としては下枠フープ材9と向かい合う面
にエンボス加工によって突起工4・・・14が形成され
たフープ材を用いていた。
そして、下枠フープ材9に中枠フープ材10を重ね合わ
せた後、第1ホーン12で押圧してよう着していた。ま
た、上枠フープ材11としては中枠フープ材10とのよ
う着面にエンボス加工により突起14が形成されたフー
プ材が用いられ、第2ホーン13の押圧により中枠フー
プ材10によう着されていた。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
しかしながら、このような従来の方法では、第2層目に
設ける中枠フープ材10及び第3層目に設ける上枠フー
プ材11はともに片面にエンボス加工が施されたフープ
材を用いなければならずエンボス加工の設備及び手間の
ためにコスト高となる欠点があった。
本発明は、上記問題を解決し、複数の熱可塑性樹脂部材
を安価に積層できる方法を提供することを目的とする。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本発明は、上記目的を達成するために、押圧面に低い凹
凸を設けたホーンを用い、積重した熱可塑性樹脂部材を
よう着するとともにその外表面にフープ材等のシート材
の厚さに比して高さの低い凸部を形成させ、両面が平滑
な熱可塑性樹脂部材を用いて順次よう着して積層できる
ようにしたものである。
すなわち、本発明による熱可塑性樹脂(以下プラスチッ
クと言う、)シートの積層方法は、複数の平板状熱可塑
性樹脂部材を超音波で順次よう着して積層する方法にお
いて、第1熱可塑性樹脂部材と第2熱可塑性樹脂部材と
を少な(とも一方に予め形成された凹凸加工面が接触す
るように積み重ねる工程と、該第2熱可塑性樹脂部材を
押圧面にエンボス加工用凹凸が形成された第1超音波ホ
ーンで押圧して第1熱可塑性樹脂部材と第2熱可塑性樹
脂部材とをよう着させるとともに第2熱可塑性樹脂部材
の外表面に凸部を少なくとも形成させる工程と、該第2
熱可塑性樹脂部材の凸部を有する面に平滑な第3熱可塑
性樹脂部材を積み重ねる工程と、該第3熱可塑性樹脂部
材の前記凸部が形成された面を第2超音波ホーンで押圧
し、第3熱可塑性樹脂部材を第2熱可塑性樹脂部材によ
う着させる工程とを有していることを特徴として構成さ
れている。
プラスチック部材は、ホーンによる超音波よう着が可能
なゆう(融)点をもつ平板状をした部材であればよく、
シート状部材であっても、ウェブ状部材であるフープ材
等であってもよい。
第1プラスチック部材と第2プラスチック部材をエンボ
ス加工面が接触するように積重するには、第1又は第2
熱可塑性樹脂部材の一方にエンボス加工等の凸部を予め
設けた面が形成されていればよい。
第1ホーンの押圧面に設けられたエンボス加工用凹凸は
、第2プラスチック部材を押圧した際に外表面に小さい
凸部を少なくとも形成させるためのものである。従って
、第2プラスチック部材に第3プラスチック部材を超音
波よう着可能な程度の凹凸のエンボス加工であればよく
、凹凸の断面形状、表面形状等は望む結果に応じて種々
変更することができる。
例えば、断面形状としては三角形状、円弧状等があり、
表面形状としては凹凸を点状に形成したもの、凹凸を線
状に形成したもの等がある。凹部と凸部は隣り合ってい
る方がよい。そうでないと、ホーン面に超音波を作用さ
せた際に凸部のようゆう(熔融)プラスチックが凸部付
近にたまり、凸部にようゆうプラスチックが供給されに
くい。また、エンボス加工用凹凸は、ホーンの押圧面の
全面に形成されていなくてもよく、熱可塑性部材のよう
着個所に対応する部位にのみけ形成されてもよい。
第2ホーンは、第1ホーンと同様に凹凸が形成されてい
ても、従来と同様に平坦なものであってもよい。即ち、
プラスチック部材を4層以上に積層する場合は、第2ホ
ーン以後のホーンも凹凸が形成されたホーンを用い、第
3プラスチック部材以後のプラスチック部材をよう着す
るとともに外表面に凸部を形成させ、最後のプラスチッ
ク部材のみは押圧面が平坦なホーンでよう着させる。ま
た、プラスチック部材を3層積層させる本発明のプラス
チック部材の積層方法の最も簡単な場合は、第2ホーン
に押圧面が平坦なホーンを用いて第3プラスチック部材
を溶着することができる。
〔作 用〕
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂部材の積層方法では、第1熱可塑
性部材と第2熱可塑性部材をエンボス加工面が接触する
ように積重させ、第1熱可塑性部材と第2熱可塑性部材
を点又は線接触状態にし、この第2熱可塑性部材に第1
ホーンを押圧し、熱可塑性部材の接触部分を溶融して溶
着するとともに軟化した第2熱可塑性部材にエンボス加
工を施  ゛し、−面にエンボス加工が施された2つの
層が一体となった部材が形成される。この2つの層が一
体となった部材に第3熱可塑性部材を積重し、これらを
点又は線の状態で接触させ、第2ホーンの押圧でこの接
触部分を溶融して溶着させる。
〔実施例〕
以下、本発明による熱可塑性樹脂部材の積層方法の一実
施例を第1図に基づいて説明する。
第1図は化学分析スライドの製造において、各フープ材
をよう着する工程を示した概略図である。
この図において、符号16は第1プラスチック部材とし
ての下枠フープ材、符号17は第2プラスチック部材と
しての中枠フープ材、符号18は第3プラスチック部材
としての上枠フープ材である。
そして、下枠フープ材16は従来と同様に両面が平滑な
フープ材であり、中枠フープ材17は従来と同様に片面
に突部14が形成されたエンボス加工フープ材であるが
、上枠フープ材18は従来と異なり両面が平滑なフラッ
トフープ材である。
このような各フープ材16.1?、 1Bをよう着積層
するには、まず、下枠フープ材16に中枠フープ材17
をエンボス加工面の突部14が接触するように積み重ね
る。次に、第1ホーン19を中枠フープ材17の上面か
ら押圧する。この第1ホーン19は、その押圧面に突条
20及び溝21が多数平行して形成されているので、下
枠フープ材16と中枠フープ材17の接触面がよう着す
るとともに、中枠フープ材17の上面の突条2oに接す
る部分は軟化し、第1ホーン19の突条20及び溝21
に対応して溝22及び突条23が形成されることとなる
。そして、この中枠フープ材17の第1ホーン19で形
成された凹凸を有する面に上枠フープ材18を積み重ね
た後、第2ホーン24で押圧して上枠フープ材18と中
枠フープ材17を超音波よう着する。中枠フープ材の表
面の突条23が上枠フープ材18の面と線状に接触する
ので、超音波エネルギーが集中して軟化、溝22を少な
くとも一部埋めながら上枠フープ材18と中枠フープ材
17とがよう着される。
なお、各フープ材16.17.18の測定孔6、フィル
ム孔7及び点着孔5は、従来と同様に穿設されており、
また、フィルム孔7への化学分析フィルム4の嵌合も従
来と同様である(上枠フープ材と中枠フープ材の接合前
にフィルムを挿入)。
第2図から第4図は、第1ホーン19の凹凸形状の他の
例を示す部分断面図である。
第2図に示す例は、略同−の三角形状である突条20と
溝21が連続して形成されている。
第3図に示す例は、略同−の山形(頂部断面が曲線)で
ある突条20と溝21が連続して形成され、断面が曲線
状の凹凸となっている。
第4図に示す例は、略三角形状の突条20とこの突条2
0より小さい略三角形状の溝21が所定間隔で形成され
ている。
第5図から第8図は、化学分析スライドの製造に用いる
第1ホーン19の凹凸の表面形状の例を示す図である。
第5図に示す例は、針状の突起25とその周囲に形成さ
れた環状の凹部26で凹凸に形成され、この突起25と
凹部26が中枠シート3に対応する位置に所定間隔で形
成されている。すなわち、中枠フープ材17のスライド
打抜線27とフィルム外縁線28間に対応する位置に形
成されている。
第6図に示す例は、フィルム外縁線28の外側において
、突条20と溝21がフープ材の長手方向に平行な縞状
に形成されている。
第7図に示す例は、フィルム外縁線28の外側において
、突条20が網目状に形成されている。
第8図に示す例は、フィルム外縁線28の外側において
、突条20と溝21が略45度の角度で斜めに形成され
ている。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明は、圧着すべき端面に凹凸が形成されたホーンで
プラスチック部材をよう着するとともにその表面に凸部
を少なくとも形成するようにしたので、以後のよう着工
程においてはエンボス加工を予め施したプラスチック部
材を用いる必要はなく、両面が平滑なプラスチック部材
を用いることができ、平板状プラスチック部材を積層し
て安価に化学分析スライドその他を製造することができ
る。
すなわち従来は、n枚の平板状部材を積層するためには
、そのうちn−1枚にエンボス加工等を予めしたものを
用いる必要があったが、本発明によれば最初に積重ねる
2枚のうちの1枚にだけ予めエンボス加工等を施した部
材を用いれば目的を達するので、エンボス加工等のため
のコストを格段に(1/2以下)減らすことができる。

Claims (2)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)複数の平板状熱可塑性樹脂部材を超音波で順次よ
    う着して積層する方法において、第1熱可塑性樹脂部材
    と第2熱可塑性樹脂部材とを少なくとも一方に予め形成
    された凹凸加工面が接触するように積み重ねる工程と、
    該第2熱可塑性樹脂部材を押圧面にエンボス加工用凹凸
    が形成された第1超音波ホーンで押圧して第1熱可塑性
    樹脂部材と第2熱可塑性樹脂部材とをよう着させるとと
    もに第2熱可塑性樹脂部材の外表面に凸部を少なくとも
    形成させる工程と、該第2熱可塑性樹脂部材の凸部を有
    する面に平滑な第3熱可塑性樹脂部材を積み重ねる工程
    と、該第3熱可塑性樹脂部材の前記凸部が形成された面
    を第2超音波ホーンで押圧し第3熱可塑性樹脂部材を第
    2熱可塑性樹脂部材によう着させる工程とを有している
    ことを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂部材の積層方法
  2. (2)第1超音波ホーンで押圧して第2熱可塑性樹脂部
    材の外表面に、互いに接近した凸部と凹部を形成する特
    許請求の範囲第1項記載の熱可塑性樹脂部材の積層方法
