In order to ensure visibility of the area around the vehicle from the driver's seat of a large vehicle such as a large truck, as shown in Figure 1, a large under mirror is installed in addition to the outside mirror 2 attached to the vehicle body 1 on the opposite side of the driver's seat. 3, and a secondary reflector 4 in the driver's cab that shows the driver the lower area reflected in the large under mirror 3 (Utility Model No. 56-

However, the secondary reflector 4 included in this automobile mirror device is installed inside the driver's cabin through the front shield glass 5 with respect to the large under mirror 3 located outside the driver's cabin, so it is located on the opposite side of the driver's seat. Light I, such as sunlight, that passes obliquely from behind and above the door window 6 and enters the driver's cabin may be partially reflected by the front shield glass 5 and then enter the secondary reflecting mirror 4. Such light I actually becomes a nuisance, and if it enters the driver's field of view, it becomes dazzling light, and even if it does not, it destroys the contrast and darkens the target image on the secondary reflector 4 that is desired to be visually recognized. There is a risk that it will become invisible. This is a problem in terms of safe driving.

Therefore, the present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks and blocks the light that passes through the door window on the side where the car mirror is installed, is reflected on the front shield glass, and then is reflected from the secondary reflector toward the driver's seat, which interferes with safe driving. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an anti-dazzling structure for an automobile mirror that does not cause glare.

The structure of the present invention to achieve this purpose is to provide an under mirror at the corner of the vehicle body opposite to the driver's seat.
In a mirror device for an automobile in which a secondary reflecting mirror is provided in the driver's cabin to guide an image reflected on the under mirror to the driver's seat side, the image from the door window is placed at the rear upper part of the door window on the opposite side of the driver's seat. The present invention is characterized in that a light shielding plate is provided in a protruding manner to block the light that enters the driver's cabin, reflects off the front shield glass, and then is reflected from the secondary reflecting mirror toward the driver's seat side.

The present invention will be explained below based on an embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. Since the present invention is applied to the above-mentioned automobile mirror device, a description of this automobile mirror device will be omitted, and only the differences will be explained. The light I that passes through the door window 6 on the opposite side of the driver's seat and is partially reflected on the front shield glass 5, enters the secondary reflector 4, and is reflected back to the driver to become dazzling light. Since the light often enters the driver's cabin obliquely from above the rear side of the door window 6, a light shielding plate 7 is provided protruding from the vehicle body 1 near the rear side above the door window 5 to block this.

Therefore, this light shielding plate 7 prevents the dazzling light I.
However, if the position where the light is blocked by the light shielding plate 7 changes due to a change in the angle of the incident light, the movement of the secondary reflecting mirror 4 may be adjusted accordingly.

Needless to say, the shape of the light shielding plate 7 is not particularly limited, and the light shielding plate 7 may be detachably attached to the vehicle body 1.

As explained above, in this invention, the image reflected in the under mirror is reflected off the windshield glass into a secondary reflector that guides it to the driver's seat side, and then the light that is reflected from this secondary reflector towards the driver's seat side. Since a light-shielding plate is provided on the vehicle body, unnecessary dazzling light is not brought to the driver, making it possible to drive safely.
