This type of decorative board is widely used for furniture, wall boards, door boards, etc. because it has a three-dimensional effect and gives a luxurious feel. A large number of strip-shaped decorative materials 2 are sequentially stacked and fixed on the surface of the base material 1 using adhesive or a tassel 3, etc., which is time-consuming and requires heat to fix each decorative material 2 at regular intervals. It took practice and time. In order to solve this drawback, the present inventor conducted various studies and, as shown in FIG. By pressing with a press, a decorative material 6 having an uneven surface as shown in FIG. 2B was produced. However, according to this method, when pressed with a press machine, excessive force is applied to the portion where the five-step portion of the decorative material is formed, and the corner portion 7 and a portion of its vicinity are torn off, resulting in cracks and crevices. This caused the product to have a low commercial value and could not be put to practical use.

As a result of further research, the inventor of the present invention has completed a method that can be manufactured easily and inexpensively without causing such cracks and crevices. A decorative material such as a thin veneer made of precious wood is laminated and adhered to the top surface of a base material made of fiberboard, and a cut is made at the step formation position of the decorative material and pressed with a press machine. Accordingly, a stepped portion is formed at the cut position.

以下、本発明の実施例について説明する。 Examples of the present invention will be described below.

(1) First, wood, such as softwood such as pine and cedar,
Alternatively, chips of hardwood such as lauan are defibrated and dried, and then an adhesive is applied using a spray method, etc., and then formed using a forming machine to a thickness of about 15 cm. After pre-pressing, this is temporarily compressed before handling. Tolerable degree (e.g. thickness 3.0
cm, bulk specific gravity of approximately 0.2) is molded. Note that the adhesive is in an uncured or semi-cured state at the time of temporary pressing.

(2) Next, the decorative material 11 is placed on the top surface of this base material 10.
(For example, thin veneers made of precious wood such as teak or cherry wood) are overlapped and pasted as shown in Figure 3, and then cut into layers using a saw, cutter, etc. (not shown) as shown in Figure 4. A cut 12 is provided at the portion forming position. The width of this cut should be as narrow as possible.

(3) Next, the decorative material 11 is pressed from the upper surface with a hot pressure press machine 13 for forming steps, and the adhesive of the base material 10 is cured, as shown in FIG.
A decorative board 15 having a stepped portion 14 and an uneven surface is manufactured. At this time, the bulk specific gravity of the manufactured decorative board 15 is about 0.5 to 0.7, and since the cuts 12 have been provided in advance at the stepped portion 14 and its vicinity, it will not be forcibly torn off. There are no cracks or crevices.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the cut 12 is made only in the decorative material 11.
However, as shown in FIG. 6, a cut 12' reaching a part of the base material 10 may be provided. Moreover, the shape of the unevenness is not limited to the one in the above embodiment, but can be made into various shapes, examples of which are shown in FIGS.
It is shown in Figure B (FIGS. 8 and 9 A each show the state before press molding).

In addition, in FIG. 9B, 16 is a molding filled in the cut portion after press molding. Since the present invention has the above-described configuration, compared to the conventional method in which a large number of strip-shaped decorative materials are fixed to a base material one by one, the number of steps and time required for manufacturing is greatly reduced, and moreover, it requires skill. It is possible to obtain a decorative board having an uneven shape at a desired precise position without any problems.

Furthermore, since the cuts are made in advance at the stepped portion formation positions, no excessive force is applied to the stepped portions, and a decorative board having sharp corners without cracks or crevices due to tearing can be produced.

Incidentally, the surface and exposed parts of the base material of the decorative board produced by this method are appropriately coated, but in order to facilitate polishing of the decorative surface, after pasting the thin veneer to the base material,
It is recommended to sand and prime. If you want to decorate the surface with a resin sheet, you can temporarily apply a resin sheet after polishing, make cuts, and then melt the resin sheet with heat pressure from a step forming press to form a surface protective film. good.
