By the way, in the case of conventional tape cassettes, the entire tape viewing window is approximately flat, so the transparent part may be distorted due to rattling when transporting dozens to hundreds of sheets in stacks or when transporting the tape during the cassette assembly process. This may result in scratches or a decrease in transparency, or there is a risk that several sheets may be assembled one on top of the other due to scratching due to surface contact.

The present invention was developed in view of these points, and it is possible to prevent scratches and abrasions on the transparent part during transportation of windows, etc., and also prevents several sheets from being supplied in a pinched state during assembly. To provide a tape cassette that is inexpensive in terms of cost.

FIG. 1 shows the external appearance of a tape cassette according to the present invention. In FIG. 1, 1 is a cassette casing, which is composed of an upper half 2 and a lower half 3. 4 is a cassette lid, 5 is a supply reel, and 6 is a magnetic tape wound around the supply reel 5. When the cassette is loaded into a VTR, the cassette lid 4 is opened as shown by the chain line in the figure, and the magnetic tape is placed on the supply reel 5. The wound magnetic tape 6 is taken out and put into a recording or reproducing state.

Reference numeral 7 denotes a transparent tape see-through window, and this tape see-through window 7 is provided with a translucent convex portion 8 in the center of one surface thereof, as shown in FIG. A recess 9 is provided on the other surface, and the remaining outer peripheral portion 10 is a transparent portion. 11
is an attachment part for attaching the see-through window 7 to the upper half part 2. The convex portion 8 and the concave portion 9 have a predetermined dimensional relationship so that a predetermined gap g is formed as shown in FIG. 3 when a plurality of transparent windows 7 are stacked. That is, if the height and width of the convex portion 8 are h 1 and width , respectively, and the depth and width of the recessed portion 9 are h 2 and d 2, respectively, then h 1 > h 2 , d 1 <

With such a configuration, even if a plurality of transparent windows 7 are stacked as shown in FIG.
A gap g is formed between the two, so that they do not come into contact with each other, and there is no risk of scratches or the like.

In FIGS. 4 to 6, the outer peripheral part 1 is a transparent part.
The purpose is to avoid damages such as scratches on the 0, and at the same time to reduce the amount of resin used as much as possible.
That is, in the example shown in FIG. 4, the depth increases from the circumferential edge of the convex portion 8 toward the circumferential edge of the outer circumferential portion 10 on one surface of the outer circumferential portion 10, and there is a stepped portion 12 between the circumferential edge of the outer circumferential portion 10 and the outer circumferential edge. In the example shown in FIG. 5, a recess 14 is provided on one surface of the outer peripheral portion 10, the depth of which gradually becomes larger than the step 12 and reaches the peripheral end of the convex portion 8. With such a configuration, in the examples shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the outer peripheral part 10, which is a transparent part, is less likely to come into contact with the outer peripheral parts of other windows, thereby avoiding damages such as scratches on the transparent part. Moreover, since the amount of resin used is small, it is inexpensive.

In addition, in the example shown in FIG.
Concave portion 1 having a uniform depth over convex portion 8 from 2.
5 is provided, and the convex portion 8 itself is also provided with a concave portion 16 in its central portion. With such a configuration, the example shown in FIG. 6 can provide the same effects as the examples shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, and furthermore, unnecessary resin is removed, making it less expensive.

As described above, according to the present invention, a convex portion is provided at the center portion of one surface of the tape transparent window, and opposite to the convex portion, the other surface of the tape transparent window has a predetermined dimensional relationship with the convex portion. Since the concave part has a shape that allows the above-mentioned convex part to engage, the transparent part may be scratched due to rattling when transporting dozens to hundreds of tape transparent windows in a stack or during the cassette assembly process. It is possible to prevent a decrease in transparency, and also to prevent pecking due to surface contact, so there is no need to assemble multiple sheets one on top of the other. Further, since the convex part is disposed above the central hub part of the supply reel, it is semitransparent, and the surfaces of the concave part can be overlapped with each other, so that they are stable when stacked.

Furthermore, since we have removed as much unnecessary resin as possible except for the minimum portions that come into contact with each other when tape transparent windows are overlapped, the amount of resin used is reduced, making it cheaper and also shortening the molding cycle. It becomes possible.
