ールハブ４に磁気テープ２が巻回されたときの最
大巻径より大きくなされており、透明な樹脂例え
ばスチロール樹脂からなる窓板３ａが設けられ、
カセツト匣体１内のリールハブ４に巻回された磁
気テープ２が容易に目視できるようになされてい
る。この窓板３ａには一対のリール軸挿入孔５
ａ，５ｂが設けられている。また、６はカセツト
匣体１の前面の中央開口部を示し、この中央開口
部６には記録又は再生時に記録再生ヘツド（図示
せず）が挿入される。また、７ａ及び７ｂはそれ
ぞれ中央開口部６の左右対称位置に配された小
窓、８ａ及び８ｂはそれぞれ小窓７ａ及び７ｂの
外側で中央開口部６に対して左右対称位置に配さ
れた左開口部及び右開口部、９ａ及び９ｂはそれ
ぞれキヤツプスタン挿通孔、１０ａ及び１０ｂは
それぞれ位置決め孔である。また、１１ａ及び１
１ｂはそれぞれカセツトハーフ１ａ及び１ｂ表面
の肉厚台形部を示し、この肉厚台形部１１ａ及び
１１ｂにはダイヤカツトシボ加工とよばれる凹凸
が施されている。このダイヤカツトシボ加工は、
テープカセツトの美観を考慮してなされたもの
で、拡大すると第２図に示す如き表面の外観を呈
しており、ダイヤモンドカツトシボ加工の凸部と
しての頂点部１２及び凹部１３が形成され、頂点
部１２と隣接する凹部１３との関係で図示の如く
前後左右に四角すいを配列する如くなされてい
