A U-shaped channel (see Fig. 1) formed between a pair of convex curved parts a and b integrally protruding from the front side of the reed has become common (Tokuko Sho 54-
6787 and Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 49-54671), in such a method, not only a high degree of form accuracy is required because beating is performed using the groove bottom area, but also a high degree of accuracy is required depending on the warp type. Although it is necessary to provide various thicknesses, it has become impossible to change the width D of the flight path at all.

が多分にあつたのである。 However, since the weft thread passing through such a flight path meanderes to some extent, the weft flight state varies depending on the type of weft thread. For this reason, depending on the weft type, weft fuzzing or filament cracking may occur.
Furthermore, there was a high risk of problems such as poor weft insertion.

節出来るようにしたものである。 The inventor of the present invention focused on the fact that the above-mentioned drawbacks can be overcome by setting the width of the weft thread flight path to the optimum width in the vertical direction depending on the weft type. The width of the flying path can be adjusted by adopting a technical means of arranging auxiliary reed blades that are relatively movable up and down in parallel on the lower surface side of the convex curved portion.

constitutes an auxiliary reed B which is slidable in the vertical direction in which the reed blade 2 extends, and is formed by a convex curved portion 2a of the reed blade 2 and a convex curved portion 2b of the auxiliary reed blade 3, as shown in FIG. The vertical width of the weft running path 4 can be adjusted from D to D'.

By means of auxiliary jets from sub-nozzles (not shown) arranged at regular intervals along the line, the weft flies while contacting the upper and lower sides of the flying path 4 in a meandering manner, reaches the end, and weft insertion is completed. It's about to be completed. This meandering pitch differs depending on the type of weft yarn, and if the vertical width of the flying path 4 is fixed as in the past, as shown in Fig. 4, the vertical width D is appropriate for the spun yarn (solid line). If present, filament yarn (dotted line)
In other words, the width in the vertical direction is narrow, and the opportunity for contact with the upper and lower sides of the flight path 4 and the contact range L are large (in the case of spun yarn, the upper side of the flight path 4 is just at the meandering apex). However, in the case of filament yarns, it contacts the upper and lower sides of the flight path 4 even before and after the meandering apex), which not only fluffs the weft or causes filament cracking. , which may impede weft flight and cause weft insertion defects.

る。 On the other hand, in the present invention, since the vertical width of the weft thread path 4 can be adjusted from D to D', as shown in Fig. 4, the filament yarn (dotted line) In this case, the weft flight path 4
If the width in the vertical direction is increased, as shown in FIG. 5, the threads will not come into sliding contact with the upper and lower sides of the weft flight path 4 before and after the meandering apex, but will come into contact only at the meandering apex. Therefore, it is possible to prevent unnecessary contact action from occurring, and it is possible to eliminate fuzzing of the weft yarns and poor weft insertion.
また、この緯糸飛走路4の調節効果は筬打ち時

ことができる。 Furthermore, in the present invention, the auxiliary reed feathers are not directly related to reed beating, and the beating is performed by the main reed, so that only the thickness of the main reed feathers can be changed depending on the warp type and fabric type. Since the vertical width of the weft running path 4 can be adjusted as described above, it is possible to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks of reeds in which the width of the weft running path of the reed feathers is fixed.

選ばれてよい。 Although the present invention has been described above using preferred specific examples, the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned specific examples. The present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned specific examples, and the present invention constitutes a reed groove whose vertical width can be adjusted by a combination of the main reed blade and the auxiliary reed blade. It should be understood that it falls within the technical scope of the present invention. Therefore, in the above specific example, the auxiliary reed blades are arranged opposite to the main reed blades, but the auxiliary reed blades may be arranged at regular intervals. Further, the auxiliary reed blades may be adjusted integrally with an adjusting bolt, or, for example, the effective passing width or reed passing width may be divided into blocks by the auxiliary nozzle arrangement interval, and adjusted for each square block. You may also do so. Furthermore, the form of the auxiliary reed blades is not limited to that shown in the drawings, and may be selected so as to form various reed groove shapes.
