Abstract

PURPOSE:To arrange paper sheets and to accomplish paper feed operation accurately and reliably by providing a rear face regulating member for regulating the trailing edges of a bundle of paper sheets, which is integral with a receive plate in such a manner as to move. CONSTITUTION:In the rising process of a receive plate unit 30, a rear face regulating member 32 is united in a body with a receive plate 31 to simultaneously rise by holding power of a permanent magnet 36. After the upper end corner portion 32A is brought into contact with the inner wall surface of a lid 26 located at a fixed position, with rising of the receive plate 32, the upper end corner portion 32A is slid along the inner wall surface of the lid 26 horizontally and moved to the right. While the rear face regulating member 323 is held by the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 36, it tilts clockwise centering around a rotary support shaft 34. When paper sheets are soon consumed completely, the receive plate unit 30 of a paper storing portion 20 reaches the uppermost position, and the rear face regulating member 32 is tilted to the right to the utmost. Also in the descending process of the receive plate unit 30, the rear face regulating member 32 is oscillated while being held by the permanent magnet 36.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the paper feeding device according to the present invention allows the paper storage section to be removed from the elevating member, and further lifts and lowers the receiving plate on which a large number of sheets of paper are placed to be stored in the paper storage section. The configuration allows the member to move up and down freely, and the rear surface regulating member that regulates the rear end of the paper bundle on the receiving plate is swingable relative to the receiving plate, so that the process of raising or lowering the receiving plate by the elevating member In this case, the position of the rear end of the sheet bundle is regulated by a rear surface regulating member. Therefore, the paper bundle does not collapse. In particular, there is an effect that there is no accident in which the upper layer of the paper bundle is shifted by the paper feeding member or the like, or it is turned up and the trailing edge of the paper goes over the rear surface regulating member, causing paper feeding failure.
