Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a gel-like compsn. which contains no inorg. filler, has high transparency and low toxicity and is suitable for use as a substrate for cosmetics, by blending silicone oil composed of three specified polysiloxanes with a dextrin fatty acid ester. CONSTITUTION:20-100wt% methylphenylpolysiloxane (A) having at least one phenyl group per molecule and a viscosity of 4-1,000cS at 25 deg.C, represented by formula I (wherein R is methyl, phenyl; a is 2-3) is mixed with a cyclic dimethylpolysiloxane (B) of formula II (wherein n is 3-6) and a dime thlpolysiloxane (C) of formula III (wherein Q is H, trimethylsilyl; m is 1-65) to prepare silicone oil 100pts.wt. said silicone oil is mixed with 2-30pts.wt. dextrin fatty acid ester and the mixture is made non-fluidized to obtain the desired gel-like compsn.

という不利があることから、このシリコーンオイルを主
剤とするゲル状物は化粧品や医療用品の基材として適さ
ないものとされていた。

があるが、これはA)成分のみからなるものとしてもよ
い。
