The purpose of this invention is to make it possible to freely change the direction of travel without turning in such cases, without reducing propulsion efficiency, and the bow and stern are each equipped with a propeller and a rudder. The present invention is also characterized by a rotatable cover that can be moved between a state covering the propeller and rudder and a state in which it is raised above the water.

The present invention will be explained below based on drawings showing an example of implementation. In the figure, 1 is a hull, which is equipped with a propeller 2 and a rudder 3 at the bow and stern, respectively, and can change between a state where the propeller 2 and rudder 3 are covered and a state where it jumps above the water. A cover 4 is rotatably provided. The cover 4 has a thick tip 5 so that it can rotate under its own weight to cover the propeller 2 and rudder 3.
It is also configured to assume the shape of a bulbous bow in the closed state. 6 is a pivot shaft of this cover 4.

Although not shown in the drawings, driving means such as a wire and a winch are provided for opening and closing the cover 4. Therefore, by lifting and opening the cover 4 located on the rear end side with respect to the traveling direction of the ship and closing the cover 4 located on the front end side, the ship assumes the shape of a normal ship. The hull 1 can be moved forward by the propeller 2 and rudder 3 exposed by opening the rear end side cover 4. By the way, at the beginning of the opening movement of the cover 4, the cover 4 is moved by the propulsive force of the propeller 2.
is slightly opened, and at the end of the closing movement, the force is applied in the closing direction by the water flow from the front, so it is completely closed. Therefore, after the cover 4 opens slightly at the beginning of the opening movement, Alternatively, the cover 4 may be opened by twisting the cover 4, or it may be closed by the drive means until just before the final closing movement of the cover 4, thereby saving energy.

The bow-and-stern jump type double-headed boat of the present invention can be implemented as described above, and can freely change the direction of travel without turning the hull, which is particularly effective when navigating through narrow waterways. In addition, since the propeller and rudder on the traveling direction side are closed by a cover, the shape is similar to that of a normal ship, and there is no extra propulsion resistance and no reduction in propulsion efficiency.
