Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は円盤状記録担体（以下ディスクと呼ぶ）の情報
トランクの構成に関するものであり、特に記録用能ディ
スクのプリグルーブとプリグルーブとともに設けられた
アドレス信号の構成に関するものである。
従来例の構成とその問題点 第１図は従来から用いられている記録可能ディスクの構
成を示す。第１図において、１はディスク、２はプリグ
ルーブ、３〜６はプリグルーブの１周に１個あて設けら
れているアドレス信号であり、プリグルーブの番地を示
している。第１図ては上記アドレス信号部分を拡大した
図示も示してあり、プリグルーブ２を断続させることに
よってアドレス信号を構成している。
プリグルーブは一般に１．６ミクロン程度のピッチで設
けられており、その巾は約ｏ、７ミクロン、高さは約ｏ
、ａミクロンの微細な凸部、あるいは凹部として構成さ
れている。
第２図は、プリグルーブに記録された信号ピットと、ア
ドレス信号を拡大して示したものである。
１ｏのプリグルーブに記録すべき信号により変調された
レーザビームを照射することにより、１１に示す記録さ
れた信号ピントが得られる。この信号ピットは例えばプ
リグルーブ２に設けられた記録層の反射率変化として記
録される。一方アドレス信号はプリグルーブを断続する
ことにより構成されている。この記録された信号ピント
およびアドレス信号を再生する再生レーザスポットを１
２に示す。この時、記録された信号ピットの巾はアドレ
ス信号の巾より実質的に小さいため、プリグルーブ２の
定められたプリグルーブＰ２　に書かれた信号ピット１
１を再生する時、隣接するプリグルーブＰ１およびＰ３
に書かれた信号ピット１１がクロストークとして再生信
号に現われるレベルは問題になるほど大きくない。しか
し、アドレス信号のクロストークは、アドレス信号の巾
が犬きぐ、かつ、ディスク上に凹凸の変化として記録さ
れているため、かなり大きく、従来から問題であった。
すなわち、従来の記録可能ディスクにおいては、アドレ
ス信号部分はディスクのプリグルーブ上の互に隣接する
位置に設けられていたため、常に隣接したアドレス信号
から、相互にクロストークが発生していた。
このクロストークが発生すると、アドレス信号のＳ／Ｎ
が借下し、読み取り誤りが発生し、記録可能ディスクを
使用する上で大きな問題となっていた。
発明の目的 本発明は、このようなアドレス信号のクロストークを著
しく低減し、安定なアドレス信号の再生を実現せんとす
るものである。
発明の構成 上記目的のため、本発明では、プリグルーブに連続して
設けられる番地等の識別信号を隣接トラック間に隣り合
わない位置に設定したものである。
発明の実施例の耽Ｂ目 第３図に本発明の一構成例を示す。
プリグルーブＰ１は区間３０のアドレス部に３２のアド
レス信号を有し、次のプリグルーブＰ２は区間３１のア
ドレス部に３４のアドレス信号を有す。
以下図に示すように次のプリグルーブＰ３のアドレス信
号３３は区間３０に、プリグルーブＰ４のアドレス信号
３５は区間３１にそれぞれ設定しアドレス信号は隣接し
ないように構成した。従って従来、第２図に示したよう
にプリグルーブＰ２のアドレス信号はプリグルーブＰ１
およびＰ５のアドレス信号の影響を受けていたが、本発
明の第３図の構成においては、プリグルーブＰ２のアド
レス信号に隣接しているのは、単なるグループｐ、、ｐ
３であり、アドレス信号間のクロストークは生じない。
第４図は本発明の一実施例におけるアドレスマーク信号
の位置を示す。Ｐ１〜Ｐ４はプリグルーブであり、４１
はアドレスマーク信号と呼ばれるものであり、アドレス
信号の存在を示す信号である。
このアドレスマーク信号はプリグルーブＰ、、Ｐ２゜Ｐ
５．Ｐ４に共通の信号フォーマントで記録されているた
め、相互にクロストークが発生しても読みとることがで
きるため、互に隣接して設けられている。またアドレス
マーク信号４１はプリグルーブの決まった位置に設け、
アドレス信号の位置を示すものであるため、互に隣接す
る位置に設けである。第６図に第４図に示したアドレス
信号を検出する方法を示す。
第６図において、６ｏは第４図に示したプリグルーブを
有する記録可能ディスクであり、５２のモータで回転制
御される。６１は光ヘッドであり、記録可能ディスク５
０のプリグルーブに情報を記録し再生する。５３はプリ
アンプであり、６１の光ヘッドの再生信号の中からアド
レス信号を分離　′し増巾する。５４はコンパレータで
あり、プリアンプ５３の出力を２値信号に変換する。６
６は／フトレジスタで、７フトレジスタの出力の一部を
５８のアドレスマーク検出器に入力し、６７のゲートを
制御し、アドレスマークが検出された時に６６のクロッ
ク発生器の出力をしゃ断し、５５のシフトレジスタにア
ドレス信号が蓄積される。蓄積されたアドレス信号は５
９の出力端子に出力される。第６図は第４図に示したア
ドレス信号を再生した時のタイミングチャートを示す。
乙に示すプリグルーブＰ１　の信号は時刻１（、から１
．までかアドレスマーク信号４１、ｔ２からｔ３までが
アドレス信号３２が再生され、ディスクが１周回転した
後、（１回転に要する時間をＴｏとする）、ｂに示すよ
うにＴｏ＋ｔｏに再びプリグルーブＰ２のアドレスマー
ク信号４１が、ｔ４からｔ５までアドレス信号３４が再
生されるわけである。
第７図は別の実施例を示す。
第７図はプリグルーブの形状が異なるものであり、一般
にはＶ型プリグルーブと呼ばれている。Ｖ型プリグルー
ブはトラックピッチＰとトラ、り巾Ｔが等しいため、ア
ドレス信号はトラック゛仁ノチと同じ巾に記録されるた
め、従来のような互に隣接するアドレス信号では非常に
クロストークが大きく、はとんど実用にならなかった。
第７図においてプリグルーブＰ１のアドレス信号は７２
で、プリグルーブＰ２のアドレス信号は７３で、Ｐ３の
アドレス信号は７２で示される。またプリグルーブ上に
記録された信号は７１で示す。Ｖ型のプリグルーブはメ
カニカルカッティングと言われる方式でディスクの原盤
が作製され、アドレス信号はＶ型のプリグルーブの深さ
あるいは高さ方向の変化として構成される。
発明の効果 以上の通り、本発明ではプリグルーブの番地を示すアド
レス信号をディスク上において互に隣接することなく構
成したので、アドレス信号の読み取り時にクロストーク
がなく、非常に安定なアドレス信号が得られるようにな
ったため、ディスクに書き込む情報の識別が安定にでき
るようになった。またディスクが半径方向に傾いた場合
も、アドレス信号にはクロストークが発生せず、面振れ
の大きいディスクも使用可能になる。

Claims (2)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）プリグルーブの番地等を示す識別信号を隣接する
    プリグルーブの識別信号が隣接しないよう配設した円盤
    状記録媒体。
  2. （２）プリグルーブに設けられた識別信号の巾をプリグ
    ルーブ上に記録される記録信号ピット巾より大きくした
    ことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項記載の円盤状記
    録担体。
