Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 1 ピストンを摺動自在に嵌合するシリンダ孔を
有するシリンダブロツクと、このシリンダブロツ
クに重合結着され前記ピストン上に燃焼室を形成
するシリンダヘツドと、前記シリンダブロツク下
に重合結着され前記ピストンにコネクテイングロ
ツドを介して連結されるクランク軸を回転自在に
軸架するクランクケースとを備えた四サイクル内
燃機関において、前記シリンダ孔、ピストン、お
よび燃焼室の横断面形状を何れも小判形もしくは
楕円形に形成し、前記シリンダヘツドには、前記
燃焼室に開口される、複数個の吸、排気弁口を開
閉する複数個の吸、排気弁を放射状に配設する
とゝもにこれらの吸、排気弁を開閉作動する複数
個の吸、排弁カム軸を、前記クランク軸と平行で
かつ円弧上に等間隔を存して軸架し、それら吸、
排弁カム軸を、それらに固着される同径の歯車等
の伝動輪を介してクランク軸に連動させてなる、
四サイクル内燃機関の吸、排弁カム軸駆動装置。
1. A cylinder block having a cylinder hole into which a piston is slidably fitted, a cylinder head which is polymerically bonded to this cylinder block and forms a combustion chamber above the piston, and a cylinder head which is polymerically bonded below the cylinder block and has a cylinder hole in which the piston is slidably fitted. In a four-cycle internal combustion engine, the cylinder hole, the piston, and the combustion chamber each have an oval cross-sectional shape. Alternatively, the cylinder head may be formed into an elliptical shape, and the cylinder head may be radially arranged with a plurality of intake and exhaust valves opening and closing a plurality of intake and exhaust valve ports opening into the combustion chamber. A plurality of intake and exhaust valve camshafts for opening and closing the intake and exhaust valves are mounted parallel to the crankshaft and equidistantly spaced on a circular arc,
The exhaust valve camshaft is linked to the crankshaft via transmission wheels such as gears of the same diameter fixed to the exhaust valve camshaft.
