Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はウェービングローションに係り、さらに詳しく
はウェービングローン３ンの重要な成分である増粘展着
剤に関する。
〔従来の技術〕
パーマネントウェーブの理論は充分に解明されてはいな
いが、毛髪中のシスチン結合（−Ｓ−Ｓ−）が重要な役
割を果たしている。
通常パーマネントウェーブには第１液と第２液を用いる
が、第１液には還元剤としてチオグリコール酸塩をアル
カリ性溶液として用いる。この第１液の水分とアルカリ
と還元剤がそれぞれ毛髪中の水素結合、塩結合、シスチ
ン結合を切断し、毛髪を軟化させる。第２液には酸化剤
として通常ブロム酸ソーダ溶液を用いるが、第１液を作
用させた後、酸性リンスで洗い流し、第２液を作用させ
ると、アルカリが中和されて塩結合は再結合し、酸化剤
の作用でシスチン結合が再結合し、毛髪の乾燥につれて
新たな水素結合も完成し毛髪にウェーブが出来上がる。
この第１液（ウェービングローション）に要求される機
能、品質は第−義的には還元力であるが、その他付随的
に必要な条件が非常に多くあり、その中で特に増粘展着
剤の影響が非常に太きい。
増粘展着剤の主たる添加目的は、第１液に適度な粘性と
展着性を与えることである。増粘展着剤として従来から
一般的に使用されているものとしてセルロース誘導体、
ポリアクリル酸ソーダ、ポリイソブチレン、ポリエチレ
ングリコール、ポリビニルアルコール、天然糊料等があ
る。
（発明が解決しようとする問題点〕 ウェービングローションの増粘展着剤には、Ｐ　Ｈ９〜
１０の高ＰＲにおける長期の粘度安定性、適度な流動性
と展着性、酸性リンスでの洗滌の容易性、ウェービング
ローション調製時の増粘展着剤の溶解作業性、高い透明
性など各種の機能が要求され、従来の増粘展着剤ではこ
れらの要求機能を全て満足させることは非常に困難であ
った。
本発明者は、これらの機能を同時に満たす増粘展着剤を
提供することを目的として鋭意研究を重ねた結果、本発
明に到達したものである。
〔問題点を解決するための手段） すなわち、本発明はエーテル化度（以下ＤＳと略す）が
２．０以上のカルボキシメチルセルロース（以下ＣＭＣ
と略す）のアルカリ金属塩又はアンモニウム塩を増粘展
着剤として含有することを特徴とするウェービングロー
ションである。
本発明に用いるエーテル化度が２．０以上のＣＭＣは、
例えば特開昭５８−４５２０１、特開昭５８−１７６２
０２などに記載されたアルカリ多段添加法または多段反
応法などによりアルカリセルロースとモノクロル酢酸か
ら製造されるものである。これまで通常使用されてきた
ＤＳが２．０以下のＣＭＣのアルカリ金属塩またはアン
モニウム塩では耐アルカリ性が悪く、アルカリ剤を配合
した第１液の高ＰＨ条件では粘度低下をきたし好ましく
ない。ＤＳは理論的には３．０まで存在するので、本発
明に用いるＣ　Ｍ　ＣはＤＳが２．０〜３．０のものが
使用できるが、ＤＳが理論値の３．０に近ずくほど工業
的製造がむつかしくなり、コスト高となるので、好まし
いＤＳの範囲は２．０〜２．９５である。
本発明のＣＭＣのアルカリ金属塩またはアンモニウム塩
の粘度は、２０℃における１％水溶液の粘度が１０〜１
０，０００　ｃｐｓのものが好ましい。
また、本発明におけるＣＭＣのアルカリ金属塩とは、リ
チウム塩、カリウム塩、ナトリウム塩をどを用いること
ができるが、工業的に広く製造されているナトリウム塩
が最も一般的に使用される。ＣＭＣのアンモニウム塩も
ナトリウム塩と同様に本発明において優れた機能を示す
。
（実施例） 以下本発明の実施例を示し、発明の効果を示すＯ 実施例１〜２、比較例１〜５゜ ＤＳが２，４および２８のＣＭＣのナトリウム塩と、比
較のためにＤＳが０．９および１．５のＣＭＣのナトリ
ウム塩およびヒドロキシエチルセルロース、トラガント
ガム、ポリアリル酸ソーダを増粘展着剤として含有する
下記組成のウェービングローションを調製し、増粘展着
剤の溶解時の作業性、透明性、長期粘度安定性、酸性リ
ンスでの洗滌性を評価した。
使用した増粘展着剤の種類は表１に示したもので、評価
結果を表２に示す。
