Abstract

PURPOSE:To exceedingly facilitate sealing work by installing a means for arranging the collected paper in the direction crossing at right angles to the direction of advance, interlocked with the taking-out and transporting operation of a carrier, in a paper-money arranging machine, etc. CONSTITUTION:The paper money P transported in succession from a transport passage is collected onto a carrier 22 consisting of an L-shaped member 23 by the revolution of vane wheels 4 and 4 and separators 11 and 11, for a prescribed number of pieces. During the time when the succeeding paper money P is held by the separators 11 and 11, the paper money P is transported into the sealing apparatus in the post process by the shift of the carrier 22. At this time, a movable arranging plate 32 urged by a spring 42 installed integrally onto the carrier 22 strikes the side edge in the longitudinal direction of the paper money P and presses the paper money P to a standard surface 31a side by the rolling of a cam roller 39 on the uneven guide 41 of an arranging means 29. Therefore, the necessity of manual arrangement is obviated, and sealing operation is facilitated.

For example, in a banknote sorting source, banknotes supplied in bulk are taken out one by one, distinguished, and separated into reusable banknotes (good banknotes) and reusable banknotes (defective banknotes) and accumulated. Each sheet is stored in a predetermined number of sheets, for example, 100 sheets.

In this type of device, - ten thousand yen note P1. Five thousand internal existence P2.
We handle banknotes P... of different sizes, such as 1,000 yen note P3,
Moreover, in order to increase the processing capacity, it is necessary to convey the banknotes at a short conveyance pitch, so the banknote conveyance path 1 is normally used for the largest size banknote among the handled banknotes, i.e. -10,000 yen note P1, as shown in FIG. The dimensional width W is set to be slightly larger than the longitudinal dimension of the banknote P, and the bill P is taken out and conveyed in the lateral direction with one end surface in the longitudinal direction as a reference.

However, with this configuration, there is not much problem when the largest size banknote, i.e. -10,000 yen note P1, is inverted, but when the banknote of smaller size is reversed, i.e., the same volume P2, 1,000 yen note When a banknote P3 etc. is reversed, it is reversed centering on a position shifted from the central part in the longitudinal direction of the banknote P, so that the end face in the longitudinal direction is separated from the reference guide part 1a of the banknote transport path 1, and the longitudinal direction If the banknotes P2... are arranged unevenly and the stacking condition is disturbed, the IM by the band 3 with the banknotes P2... in a state shown in FIG.
This was a major hindrance to automatic sealing operations.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention receives and holds paper sheets sequentially carried out from a conveyance path between the blades of an impeller, and as the paper sheets rotate, they are sequentially discharged and accumulated into a collection chamber, and are also accumulated in the accumulation chamber. In the paper sheet collection W4 equipment in which the accumulated paper sheets are taken out and transferred by a carrier, the paper sheets accumulated in the accumulation chamber and taken out and transferred by the carrier are taken in a direction perpendicular to the direction of travel thereof. A sorting means for aligning the paper sheets is provided, and the paper sheets stacked in the stacking chamber can be taken out in an orderly stacked state with any misalignment of the end faces in the direction along the conveying direction removed.

The dimension width W is set to be slightly larger than the longitudinal dimension of ffPt, and one end surface of the bill P in the longitudinal direction is set as the reference chi 1.
The structure is such that the material is taken out and conveyed in the lateral direction with the section 1a as a reference. Then, the banknotes P are actually conveyed in the stacking direction to the stacking chamber 2 via a front-back reversing means (not shown)... ) is reversed 180 degrees around the center in the width direction of the conveyance path 1 to align the front and back sides during stacking.

For this reason, there is not much of a problem when the -10,000 yen bill P1 is reversed, but if a bill of a smaller size is used, that is, the existing same-volume bill P2. When a 1,000 yen note P3 or the like is reversed, the end faces in the longitudinal direction are separated from the reference guide portion 1a of the banknote conveyance path 1, and the end faces in the longitudinal direction become uneven. However, in the case of the present invention, the banknotes P are automatically arranged in this direction by the arrangement means 29 attached to the carrier 22 when they are taken out and transferred by the carrier 22. .

As explained above, according to the present invention, the accumulated paper sheets on the carrier are taken out in a direction perpendicular to the traveling direction thereof in conjunction with the take-out and transfer operation of the carrier that takes out and transfers the paper sheets accumulated in the stacking chamber. Since the arrangement means is provided to align the end faces of the paper sheets stacked in the stacking chamber in the direction along the transport direction, the arrangement is relatively simple, but the paper sheets can be easily aligned in the transport direction. The paper sheets can be stacked in an orderly manner with one end surface aligned, and when sealing the stacked paper sheets, there is no need to manually arrange them as in the past, making the sealing process extremely easy. This is especially useful when a member of staff handles everything from stacking paper sheets to sealing them.
