Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent sheet from shrinking and curling and effectively utilize heat energy by a method wherein only pocket portions to form blisters are heated in the blister forming method. CONSTITUTION:In a method to form sheet S having pockets SP, in which articles to be packed are received, firstly the sheet S is delivered from a roll R. Secondly, only portions Sa, at which the pockets SP of the sheet S is to be formed, are locally heated with a heating roller HR or the like. Thirdly, the pockets SP are formed with a forming roller FR. Because the sheet is locally heated, neither shrinking nor curling of the whole sheet by cooling occurs and, in addition, the whole forming can be completed with a small quantity of heating energy.

た加熱成形方法に関するものであるO (従来の技術とその問題点〕 熱可塑性合成樹脂シート又はフィルムに包装すべき物品
を収納するポケットを成形して物品の包装を行なうブリ
スター包装機に於ては繰り出される前記シートの全面を
ポケット成形に必要な温度に加熱して成形するようにな
している0このためポケット成形は行なえてもシートが
冷却する時、シート全体が収縮する。この場合ポケット
成形した部分では肉厚が薄くなっており、又ポケット未
成形部分ではシート厚となり、ポケット形成部より厚く
なってシートの厚さが部所によって異なる。

熱及びポケット成形をロールHRFRにて行なう場合、

ト成形を平盤にて行なう場合は平盤HP、FPの長さ等
によって一定ピッチ毎間隔的に繰り出すようにする。勿
論連続あるいは間隔的に繰り出されるシートが加熱ロー
ル又は加熱盤に接する時、ポケット成形に適した温度に
加熱される。そしてこの場合繰り出されるシートの全面
が加熱されるのではなくポケット成形部のみ加熱される
ように加熱ロールHR又は加熱盤HPが加工されている
。この加熱はシート全体に於ては第3図に示す如く、そ
して部分の拡大に於ては第4図に示す如くポケット成形
部Saのみ加熱されるようする。この加熱方法としては
第51N(a)に示すように加熱ロール又は盤内にヒー
タを内蔵し、その外周面又は表面をポケット成形部位置
のみシート面と接するよう突出させ、それ以外に於ては
外周面又は表面をくぼませるか又はポケット成形部の外
周を断熱材例えばシリコンゴム等を設置し、この断熱材
がシート面に接触してもシートを加熱しないようになす
。さらにこの加熱ロール又は盤の外周又は表面にテフロ
ン等にて表面コートを施すこともある。このヒータ内蔵
式加熱ロールHRを使用する場合該ロールと対向して加
圧ロールPRを配設し、繰り出されるシートが加熱ロー
ルに所要圧で接触し所望の加熱が行なわれるようにする
。また加熱盤HPの場合はこれと対向して加圧盤を用い
ることもある。

にすることができる。さらに加熱ロール又は盤によるシ
ートの部分加熱のため熱量が少なくてすみ省エネルギー
に役立ちかつ均一加熱が可能となり、寸法精度の向上を
図り、不良発生を減少せしめられる。
